Getting around
A car is recommended but the village is within a 30 minute walk along the cycle track or quiet country roads. The train station is in Lochwinnoch and Glasgow city centre is a 20 minute journey from there. Loch Lomond is a short drive over the Erskine Bridge. The coast, Largs and Cumbrae and the ferries to Aran, Bute and Dunoon are a short drive. The beach at Portencross is a favourite.
