How to get there
Perugia airport (40min), Ancona (1.20hr but an easy drive), Pisa (1.30hr), Rome (1.40hr), Bologna (1.45hr)
We would always advise for you to hire a car as public transport is not very frequent although there is a good train service between Perugia and Sansepolcro in Tuscany. Train from Ponte San Giovanni to Rome. Train from Arezzo to Florence. Please ask owner for more info.

Getting around
A car is a essential, although as explained above there is a train that runs between Perugia and Sansepolcro. Should you wish to go to Rome for the day you could take the train early in the morning (freccia rossa which is a fast train) and then back in the evening. To Florence you can take the train from Arezzo, frequent service. The property is very well placed for visiting many wonderful places. Cortona in Tuscany is a 30 minute wonderful drive through the hills. Citta' di Castello is a 25 minute drive and so is Umbertide. Montone which is a wonderful hilltop town is a 35 minute drive, Gubbio 45 minutes, Perugia 45minutes, Assisi 1hr, Arezzo 1hr, Sansepolcro 45 minutes.
