How to get there
Air: The Gold Coast International Airport at Coolangatta is located just 20 kilometres south of Surfers Paradise. A range of carriers fly directly into GCIA: Jetstar, Virgin Australia, Tiger Airways and Air New Zealand. There are several Minibus services which will take you directly to Peninsula, such as ConXion.
Brisbane Airport. Likewise there are door-to-door Minibus Servcies which can be prebooked. Or the Airtrain departs Brisbane Airport every half hour express to the Gold Coast. The route 702 bus departs from the airport, every half hour between the first and last flights of the day, and takes about 45 minutes to arrive at Ferny Avenue in Surfers Paradise.
Taxis are available directly outside the terminal and will drop you directly to your hotel.
All of the reputable car hire companies operate from the airports. Pre-book to save time or shop around once on the ground to secure the best deal.
Interstate Coach Services :Greyhound and Murrays coaches both operate from the Surfers Paradise Transit Centre (10 Beach Road, Surfers Paradise) and travel to an extensive network of destinations throughout Australia.
G-train Surfers Paradise is right outside Peninsula - great access.
Local Bus: Surfside Buses service the Gold Coast with a number of routes passing directly through Surfers Paradise.
