How to get there
We suggest you reach the apartment by taking a taxi from the train station in case you have heavy luggage.
In case you wish to walk, Cross St. John it is only 1 km on foot from the train station, along the pedestrianized Corso Vittorio Emanuele. St John's cross is a very small alley that actually runs in the courtyard of Castel Terracena: once arrived at the end of Corso Vittorio Emanuele coming from the central train station, in Piazza Porta Nova, you go to your right and look for Cerenza Piazetta, where you will see two flights of stepts that lead you up the your doorstep. The portion of Castel Terracena that hosts the apartment is painted in ochre. Or, comingon foot from Via San Benedetto and Via San Michele, where the Archeological Museum is, one arrived in from of the St. Michael church, you turn left under a low arch and find yourself in the courtyard of Castel Terracena.
Coming by car is bit more challenging because of the narrow alleys, but still you can make it with a not-too-large car. You have to look on your satellite navigator for the Diocesan Museum, Via Bastioni (one way), Via San Michele (one way), follow the road behind the cathedral and turn left where you will find yourself in Piazza Cerenza, where a public covered parking is (check the rates). You can park for free in the area and we do not suggest using the car in the old city-centre, because you can easily get fined!
