The cottages at Wedderburn are easily reached from Berwick-upon-Tweed where there is a railway station serviced by the East Coast mainline from London and the east and Cross Country trains from stations in the west of the country. Trains from London and connecting stations generally run hourly. Berwick-upon-Tweed is a 20 minute drive from Wedderburn and cars can easily be hired and collected from the station via prior arrangement with East Coast Rentals, or the cottages are accessible by taxi. The nearest airport is Edinburgh which is around one hour and 15 mins drive from Wedderburn, with car hire available at the airport. Newcastle Airport is around 1 hour and 30 mins. Airport transfers via taxi are also available. For those driving, the cottages are around 20 minutes drive off the A1 – the main east coast road between England and Scotland or around one hour's drive from Edinburgh. There is easy parking at the door of all of the Wedderburn cottages.
