How to get there

From Fiumicino AirportTaxi: There is a fixed taxi fare of 48 Euro from the airport to the city center (Testaccio area included). Train: Take FL1 Regional train (each 15 min during weekdays, each 30 min on weekends and holidays, ticket for Testaccio area cost 8 Euro) and get off at Rome Ostiense station (32 min). In front of the main exit of the station (Piazzale dei Partigiani) take the BUS n.83 and get off at Via Rubattino (6th stop). From the bus stop the first on the left is Via Amerigo Vespucci, the n.57 is at 100m. IMPORTANT: at the airport do not take Leonardo Express train, it doesn't stop at Ostiense, take the FL1.Bus: The Terravision Shuttle Service charges 6 Euro one-way or 11 Euro return. Journey lasts 55 min. The bus connect the airport to the main train station of Rome (Termini). From there you can take the Metro Line B direction Laurentina and get off at Piramide. From there take the BUS n.83 direction l.go Valsabbia ad get off at Via Rubattino (5th stop). From here as above. (the ticket for the Metro costs 1,5 € last 100 min for first use and is also valid for the bus).Visit for more airport and travel information.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------From Ciampino AirportThe best option from Ciampino is the Terravision Shuttle Service ( The buses are clean, comfortable and convenient. Tickets cost 6 Euro one-way or 11 Euro return. Journey lasts 40 minutes. Careful: if you book in advance and miss your assigned bus, it is not easy to get a refund. It is always easy to find a seat on the bus, so buying your ticket once you land is probably your best bet! You can also take the COTRAL bus to Anagnina Metro A station and then take the metro to Termini and then as above. This option will cost significantly less (about 3 Euro total), but will take up to an hour (30 min. bus and 30 min. metro). Taxi fares from Ciampino to the city center (within the Aurelian walls) are 30 Euros (Testaccio area included). Visit or for more information and travel options.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------From Termini main train station:Bus: walk to the terminal bus station just in front of the railway station (the square is named piazza dei cinquecento) and take the bus n.170 direction Agricoltura. Leave the bus after 11 stops at Via Giovanni Branca. From there you just have to walk for 200m to my place. Follow the bus direction and turn first on the right (Via Rubattino) and first on the left (Via Amerigo Vespucci 57).Metro: go to the metro station (follow direction inside Termini) and take Metro line B direction Laurentina. Leave at Piramide station (4 stops). From here you can walk to the apartment (1,1 km) or you can take bus n.83 (bus stop is in Via dele Cave Ardeatine on the right of the main exit of the station, other side of the street) and leave after 5 stops in Via Rubattino. From here first on the left is Via Amerigo Vespucci.Tickets for Bus and Metro are the same and cost 1,50€ and last 100 minutes. You can buy them to the newspaper kiosk inside the station or the Tabac shop or the automated machines.Taxi: parking is in front of the station (Piazza dei Cinquecento). Price depend from traffic jam and number of luggage.
