The main airlines from the UK are:
• London Heathrow - British Airways, Bulgaria Air
• London Gatwick - Easyjet, Bulgaria Air, flythomascook.com
• Luton - Wizzair
• Manchester - Wizzair, Easyjet, flythomascook.com
Bansko can then be reached from Sofia by bus, train, car hire or private transfer. Private transfers can be organised on request - from Sofia to Bansko takes approx 2.5 hours by car and can cost up to 170 euros return but check out the following options:-
1. Bansko Express
www.banskoexpress.com This will be a new service costing from £12 per person.
Taxi's - www.oktaxi.net or, www.sofiaairporttaxis.com

TOP TIP: Be sure you have a ticket attached to screen for the motorways outside Sofia. Do check you have winter tyres attached and that the windscreen fluid is full.
Carry your driving licence. Be very careful to obey speed limits. They change often and police are there to catch you.
Bus - Best to use Ovcha Kupel bus station, right side of town but check timetable online.
