Puffin Cottage Portreath is less than a 10 min easy drive from the A30, the main road/dual carriageway through Cornwall and is situated on the north coast about mid way between Newquay and St Ives. There is also a main line railway station at Redruth, which is only a 10 min drive away from Puffin Cottage.

Getting around
Portreath is in a great location if you have your own vehicle as it is only a 10 min drive to the A30 which runs through Cornwall and can be used as the main trunk road to explore all that Cornwall has to offer. There are also buses running from the village to Truro if you fancy a spot of shopping! The main line train station in Redruth, only 10 mins drive away, allows access down to Penzance or north to Truro and beyond.
