Its not essential to have a car but please bear in mind the area is hilly so you may prefer to have a one for getting around. There is a good local bus service to surrounding towns and villages and the bus station is a twenty minute walk or five minute taxi ride from the apartment. The local taxi's are reasonably priced, the average journey form town would cost roughly 6/7 euros. There is a local blue bus that does an hourly circuit of the town and costs 1 euro.We are two minutes walk from the nearest bus stop.
