If you come from further away and need to fly, the nearest airports are: Almeria Airport: One hour by car from Vera Playa. National and international flights operated by the main airlines and low-cost companies such as Easyjet and Ryanair. Región de Murcia International Airport: One hour and twenty minutes by car from Vera Playa. Domestic and international flights operated by the main airlines as well as some low-cost airlines. The nearest beach is about 200 meters away. You can go perfectly walking and the beach has walkways to reach the sea.
Getting around
Practically all services are available to go on foot, however, if you do not have a car and need to move there are several options: - During the summer, the Garrucha-Vera Playa Tourist Train is used by many as a means of transport, since it has many stops in the area and passes several times a day. Children love it because it has the shape of a train and wagons. It goes very slowly, but since you are on vacation there is no rush, right? :-) - You also have the company Autocares Baraza, which has several stops on the beach and links all the towns in this area: Carboneras, Mojácar, Garrucha, Vera, Villaricos ...
