How to get there
We're located about 45 minutes north and east of the Eau Claire International Airport. Basswood Chalet & Guesthouse is set back off the road, on the northern side of Lower Long Lake in New Auburn. We'll forward directions to you the week of your stay.

Getting around
A car or other vehicle is definitely needed to get to us. Please feel free to bring your bicycles, snow shoes, cross country skis, snowmobiles and smaller boat should you wish to explore the area beyond your walking shoes.
