Portsmouth to St Malo / Caen / Cherbourg - an overnight ferry crossing and then a four to five hour drive from these ports will bring you to La Soliniere by early afternoon.

Dover to Calais / Boulogne - The opening of the extension to the A28 means you can travel to within 40 miles of Bouin on the excellent French autoroute system.

BY AIR

British airways has daily flights from London Gatwick to Nantes or Bordeaux. Cars can be hired at both airports and La Soliniere is about 2.5 hrs from each airport.

Ryan air fly to Poitiers, La Rochelle and Limoges with cheap flights. Car hire is available at all of these airports.

Flybe flies from Southampton to La Rochelle. This is about 1 hour from La Soliniere and car hire is available at this airport.

Eurostar / TGV

Eurostar to Paris then the TGV to Ruffec where a taxi ride will get you to us in about 30 minutes.
