How to get there
Transport from Malta International Airport (MIA) to Birgu either by taxi or bus:
Taxi service - Tickets can be purchased at a fixed rate (€18) from a booth in welcomers Hall. A regular taxi normally accommodates four persons, however, the number of suitcases being carried must also be taken into consideration with regard to the space required in the vehicle. Duration: 15 minutes
Bus Service - There is no direct bus to Birgu from MIA. You first need to catch the bus (X4) to arrive in Floriana and then catch another bus (X2 or X4) to arrive in Birgu. Ticket price: €2.50 / Duration: 1 hour.
