Directions from Derby

Follow the A6 passing through Cromford and Matlock Bath which will bring you into Matlock. Pass 2010 Bar on the left and The Viva Restaurant on the right, go straight ahead through the traffic lights passing Sainsbury’s on the left-hand side. At the roundabout take the first exist along the A6 towards Bakewell for about 1.5 miles passing DFS on the left and Texaco Garage on the right. Take the next right onto the B5057 Chesterfield. Passing Coates Butcher’s on the left-hand side take the next left, just before the trough, opposite the phone box. The Escape Driveway is the first driveway on the right hand side, opposite the Plough Inn.

Directions from Bakewell

Follow the A6 towards Matlock passing through Rowsley. Once arriving into Darley Dale you will see Darley Dale Fish Bar on the left and then continue for just under ½ mile where Barringtons Pub is on your right. After the traffic lights take the left turn here onto the B5057 Chesterfield Road. Passing Coates Butcher’s on the left hand side take the next left, just before the trough, opposite the phone box. The Escape Driveway is the first driveway on the right hand side, opposite the Plough Inn.

Directions from M1 J29

Exit the M1 at J29 heading towards Chesterfield along the dual carriage way until you come to a large roundabout in Chesterfield. Take the first exist passing restaurants (Frankie & Benny's) and the cinema on the left hand side. You will go through two sets of traffic lights and when you approach the third take a right turn onto St Augstines Road. Continue to the top of this road going straight on at the mini roundabout onto Whitecotes Lane. Continue along Whitecotes Lane going through a set of traffic lights passing the petrol station on your left. Head towards Matlock on the A623. Approximately after a mile take the right turn for the B5057; The Peak Edge Hotel should now be on your left. Follow the road for about two miles passing Darwin Forest on the right hand side. Continue along this road which becomes Sydnope Hill. Continue on Sydnope Hill, after passing through a sharp ‘S’ at the bottom of Sydnope Hill. Immediately at the bottom take the first right onto Wheatley Road. The Escape Driveway is the third driveway on the left hand side, opposite the Plough Inn.
