Casa Capuchin is a modern, three level, 4 bedroom, 4-1/2 bath home perched on a cliff overlooking the Pacific, tucked into lush tropical jungle. The moment you walk in the door your eyes are drawn to the endless postcard views of the ocean and the renowned Manuel Antonio National Park.

Located on Pacific Canyon Drive, one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in Manuel Antonio, the villa is just a 5 minute drive from the beaches and the world famous national park. There are excellent restaurants within walking distance and a wide selection of activities that are conveniently close by.

This picturesque villa has a state of the art design that maximizes the positive effects of living by the sea. Its high ceilings and open floor plan facing the ocean allow you to fully immerse yourself in your environment, enhancing your enjoyment of the tropics.

Much less visible but just as important are the 67 roof mounted solar panels. On average they generate more than enough electricity to run the entire house making your stay with us a “green” and sustainable one. Additionally, any excess energy is pushed out to the grid where it is used by other consumers that might otherwise be using carbon generated power. We are proud to be the first house in the Manuel Antonio area with this capability thus contributing to Costa Rica's goal of achieving carbon neutrality.

The villa is equipped with all the amenities to ensure your comfort, allowing you to savor your surroundings. It can accommodate 10 guests in the 4 bedrooms and is ideal for families, honeymooners, couples, and groups of friends.

The two upper level bedrooms have king size beds and breathtaking ocean views. The lower level bedroom has a queen size bed, a twin bed and a private balcony with jungle views. The 4th guest bedroom (located off an internal courtyard) has a queen size bed and a loft sitting area with jungle and partial ocean views. All bedrooms are air conditioned and have private baths.

The open air living area is perfect for lounging and dining with plenty of ceiling fans and an ocean breeze to keep you cool throughout your day. It also allows you to easily observe the local wildlife as they go about their daily routine. Three species of monkeys, sloths, toucans, iguanas and geckos often pass by providing entertainment, educational and photographic opportunities.

The kitchen is stocked with modern appliances. A private chef can be provided upon request, and don't worry about the dishes as daily (excluding Sunday) maid service is included.

Your concierge can help you with transportation, tour reservations, activities, restaurants and recommendations for the best places to shop for souvenirs, beachwear, groceries and more.

This villa was recently sold and the new owners have made numerous improvements to the property.  The kitchen has been refurbished and the living room furniture has been replaced.  They have also added new safety railings to the stairs and pool. Other improvements are ongoing but will not interfere with your stay.

As your concierge, I will be checking you into your vacation villa, and seeing you off as well. Why can't I call Vacation (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Vacation (the owner) a message.

If Vacation (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
