Kitchen: Separate from lounge area, with contemporary walnut finishes and fully equipped with modern appliances including. Fan oven/hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, plus all the glassware crockery and utensils to dine in style.

Living Rooms: Lounge area has a large and very comfortable L shaped sofa with large and small footstools which can be used to make into a versatile extra bed. LCD TV, Satellite.( now limited channels) DVD. Quality music system which has CD, I-Pod, USB, DAB radio. Standard lamp and glow lamp.

Other: The dining area has solid wood dining table with 4 directors chairs. The large balcony table also has seating for 4 giving you eight dining chairs which you can mix and match inside or out. All the chairs are lightweight and easily moved around.

The apartment boasts full air-conditioning/heating, also includes iron/ironing board. Professional hairdryer and two luxury bathrobes in master bedroom. TV/DVD/I-Pod dock in guest bedroom, cool bag and picnic ware set for pool or beach. beach chairs, parasol, beach mats, portable BBQ and four beach towels, two in each bedroom. We have provided a good selection of CDs, DVDs and books. All the patio doors and windows are space saving easy slide to open, all have tinted glass which helps keep cooler in the heat of summer.

Accessibility: The apartment is situated on the first floor and there are steps, however they are wide and not steep but may not be suitable for people with limited mobility. The resort is set in a level location and the surrounding area is virtually flat, there are no hills so it is easy to get about around the local area.

Internet available via purchase of wi-fi card from on-site Spa, per device.

The apartment has a generous sized private balcony with views over the pools and gardens and to the Mediterranean. We have furnished the area to take full advantage of the wonderful year round climate Cyprus offers. With large rattan style circular dining table and 4 comfortable chairs, in addition there are two armchairs, two seat sofa and coffee table in dark rattan style.

The balcony has outside lighting. You can watch the sunset with your favourite tipple. The resort boasts two wonderful pools separated by a large water feature, one pool is heated, there are sun terraces with sun beds and parasols for you to soak up the sun surrounded by the beautifully landscaped gardens with views to the Mediterranean.

At the side of the pools steps lead you down into the sanctuary of the luxury spa and gym, with everything you need for total relaxation and lots of pampering. If your feeling more energetic hit the gym which has all the latest state of the art equipment and runs aerobic classes.

Mandria

Coast/Beach: The natural and unspoilt local beach at Mandria is only a few minutes easy walk, or just a 2 minute drive. The beach is made up of coarse sand and pebbles, there is a recently opened make shift bar. You will need transport to get to other beaches including Paphos where there are a few little beaches in the area known as Kato Paphos. Other beaches to visit, Coral bay to the west and Pissouri to the east are approx a half hour drive. Within a 1hr drive are Polis and Latchi all have good beaches.

Golf: For golfers Cyprus and Paphos in particular will cater for your needs perfectly. With three superb courses all close by. Secret valley and Aphrodite Hills are only 5 and 10 minute drives respectively. You can literally go from Airport to Apartment to golf course within 1 hour. Blessed with year round sunshine Cyprus is becoming a great alternative to the usual Mediterranean golf destinations.

Skiing: Skiing is possible in the Troodos mountain range in the winter months usually January/February. Cyprus is unique in being one of only a handful of destinations around the world where you can ski, then be at the beach and swimming in the sea the same day.

Mandria village has two kiosks and a mini market, you can get most essentials here. There are 3 tavernas and a fish and chip restaurant/takeaway, there is also a cafe bar. There is a petrol station at the main road junction to the village. As the village and the surrounding area is so flat you may consider hiring bikes which is great fun and could be an alternative to hiring a car.

There is a bike hire company in a nearby village run by a British couple, we have used and can recommend them. They supply deliver and pick up all the equipment for you. When you have confirmed your booking for the apartment with a deposit we will send you our holiday pack which has details of the bike hire, plus lots of other info about the apartment and the resort including maps of Cyprus and Paphos.

“So relaxing!”

It is a great apartment in the very nice complex with good facilities and lovely pool. It is in a quiet area and is ideal for families with kids (in the evenings, while little one is asleep, you can chill with a glass of wine or beer on the balcony, overlooking the lighted pool, simply divine). In addition, it is a very short walk to the village with nice little tavernas and a mini shop to get some necessities. The only downside was the beach, which is simply not developed enough to be used by little children (at east under 2 y.o.); but Paphos is only 20min away with sandy beaches and other attractions, and pool is always an option. Overall, we had a great time and would go back.

“Relaxing, well-equipped apartment on a superb complex”

This is a great apartment for a relaxing break which is very well equipped with all mod-cons and the swimming pools and complex are fantastic The complex seemed that it was half holiday lets and half residents which made it ideal with young families (we have two 9-year olds) & meant there was no older rowdy elements which often occurs in holiday resorts. The complex management were excellent in sorting out any issues but the car hire company they arranged for us was terrible and the car was not roadworthy. Probably, using a more expensive, established company at the airport would be a safer bet. The apartment is very close to the airport yet the airport taxi's rip you off for $30 for a 5-10 minute journey. Pre-book Adonis of Adonis Taxi Service on Tel 00357 97857657 or E-mail adonislogo@hotmail.com and quote 'Jane from Mandria' & he'll probably come out for about half that. We used him for several trips around Paphos and he is charming and accomodating. Enjoy your hols
