Location description from owner

The England region

Famous for Old Trafford and Manchester United tours, we have much more to offer in Manchester than our fantastic football teams.

We are the host to some big concerts at the Etihad Stadium and have wonderful museums, art galleries, parks and festivals.

Tatton park and Heaton Park is great for concerts and family entertainment and just a good day out.

Wonderful markets in local areas give a feel of the local people and the industrial past of the area.

30 minutes away from the country side of Saddleworth villages, its really worth jumping on a train to explore. From May onwards there are often local traditional festivals worth a visit.

There is tram network which will take you down to the Ice Rink in Altrincham, if you fancy doing something different.

Further a field there are is the pleasure beach of Blackpool or the quieter beach of Southport.

A 2 hour drive takes you into the Lake District or for closer country side there is the Peak District.

Manchester

This is a quiet residential area, within a business district of Manchester. Much of what you will need is within walking distance, including Albert Square and St Anne's Square which are the home for Christmas markets and food festivals.

The wonderful Opera House, Palace Theatre, Central Library, St Peters Square are a short walk away.

Media City with the Lowry Theatre, Lowry Outlet and relocated BBC are all places worth going to visit.

The universities are a short bus ride away, as is Central Manchester Hospital or the Apollo Theatre which is good if you really like to get close to your music rather than the larger stadiums.

Visit the Curry Mile in Rusholme, catching a bus along Oxford Road with the busiest bus route in Europe due to its student population.

China Town is within the city centre and around 10 - 15 minutes walk from the accommodation

“Great”

Reviewed 18 Jun 2016

Booking was straightforward. Easy to contact owner prior to arrival. Great location close to shops and restaurants. Apartment was spacious, very comfortable and well equipped. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go again. Highly recommended.

“Don't think about it, book it!”

Reviewed 2 Nov 2015

This apartment is excellent in every way, from the location to the host to the apartment itself. It is right in the centre of town and yet very quiet at night (and both City and Utd were playing at home on the same night for the first time in years). we slept like babies. I must apologise to Jacqueline because my wife polished off the whole packet of chocolate biscuits that were left for us.(and we only stayed two nights!) This place is worth every penny. I would have expected to pay considerably more for a two double bed apartment this close to the city centre. Like I said, book it!

“All you could want”

Reviewed 1 Nov 2015

situate next to the Lowery hotel on the River Irwell the apartment is 2 mins from Deansgate and the main shopping/restaurant area in Manchester. The booking process was very straight forward as was meeting to get the key and be introduced to the facilities of the apartment. Everything you could need was there - why pay hotel prices when you can have such a tremendous apartment

“Fantastic Apartment in Excellent Location”

Reviewed 7 Oct 2015

Our annual get together with friends was arranged for Manchester and I booked this apartment. Jacqueline is excellent and the apartment really lovely and clean with everything you need for a short break. The location is brilliant 5 mins from shops and across bridge to Spinningfields for lots of bars and restaurants. A special mention for The Lowry Hotel next door which does a fab Sunday Lunch. Highly recommend it.

“Lovely modern Apartment in a great location.”

Reviewed 10 Aug 2015

I would highly recommend this apartment. Manchester town centre is very easily accessible as it is only a 10 minute walk into the city centre. The balcony overlooks the river and bridge which is lovely. Both bedrooms are very spacious and clean. Jackie gave us the opportunity to arrive much earlier as there were no guests the previous night which was an added bonus! Jackie was also very quick to attend to any of our queries which was very convenient. We will definitely be returning.

“High quality accommodation in a good central location.”

Reviewed 3 Aug 2015

This lovely apartment is located in a complex next to the Lowry Hotel and comes with a secure parking space, which is a real bonus as decent parking in Manchester is expensive. The location is just a short walk to the city centre attractions and there are some local shops nearby including a Tesco Extra with a cash machine. Prior to our stay we had a few questions and Jacqueline responded promptly and efficiently with useful information. On arrival we phoned the contact number and Jacqueline met us and helped us to use the car parking lift as well as showing us to the apartment and giving us the keys. After we had unpacked we had a small problem connecting to the free wi-fi, we texted her and she got back to us quickly with a suggestion which helped us sort out the problem. My wife described the apartment as beautiful, spacious, clean and well equipped. Some nice touches included a bottle of wine, milk and nice biscuits plus vases of fresh flowers. We have stayed in many apartments in Manchester and other cities and this is one of the best we have found. We strongly recommend it and Jacqueline as a friendly and helpful owner.

“Modern airy apartment in a central location. Perfect for a city break!”

The apartment was modern, airy , well equipped and very clean. I really enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the bridge with a glass of Presecco. Would definitely return.

“Great apartment, local to town centre”
