Welcome to our luxury Yorkshire cottage.
Escape to this gorgeous stone-built, character cottage with a stunning cottage garden.
Enjoy the peace and tranquility of Spring Cottage's village setting (between Malton and Pickering) and a short stroll to the village pub.
Spring Cottage is stylishly presented with a Farrow & Ball Colour scheme and attention to detail throughout. It's equipped and furnished like a home not a holiday let!
The cottage was a farm worker's cottage and original features such as a beamed ceiling and old stonework highlight its heritage.
It's well equipped and full of modern day comforts such as a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, central heating, a log burner, wifi, a separate shower and a deep roll-top bath.
Relax on the squishy lounge sofas in front of the log burner, enjoy a g&t on the patio before heading to the village pub for supper, and plan tomorrow's activities as you stargaze while soaking in the tub!
In the warmer months take full advantage of Spring Cottage's patio for dining outdoors or enjoy croquet on the private south facing lawned garden. Help yourself to our fruit and veg garden and after sunset, watch the bats flying overhead.
You'll arrive to a carefully sourced Yorkshire welcome hamper and luxury bedlinens, essential-oil toiletries, towels and fluffy bathrobes are all provided.
Perfect for couples, Spring Cottage is a couple's retreat, away from the stresses of modern day life. Yet families are welcome too (and you don't have to bring the kitchen sink) as baby equipment can be provided, so too are children's toys, books, games, dvds, wii console and garden swings.
Spring Cottage is situated between York and Scarborough (approx 20 miles from each). Perfectly located close to Castle Howard and the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and only a short drive to the North York Moors National Park. The market towns of Malton and Pickering are where you'll find your nearest markets and supermarkets.
Malton is North Yorkshire's "Foodie Capital" and Pickering is home to the famous North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
