“Everything you could want and more”

Reviewed 19 Feb 2014

Cotswolds Retreat was everything we were looking for in a romantic weekend away. It was bigger than we had expected with lots of perks like a jacuzzi, kitchen (with everything you need), large tv and an incredibly comfy bed with a memory foam mattress. It's also very close to some lovely scenic towns like Castle Combe and Malmesbury, both of which we enjoyed exploring. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend (or longer) away in the beautiful Cotswolds, I'd recommend Cotswolds Retreat. It's fantastic value for money and the location couldn't be better for exploring the surrounding areas. We will definitely be returning!

Thank you for the lovely review and we hope you'll take advantage of the returning guest discount very soon.

“Perfect place for two”

Reviewed 18 Mar 2013

The booking process was quick and easy also for someone from outside the UK. Mark, the owner, was always very fast to reply and provided very good information about the property and the location. We had a very nice welcome at Cotswolds Retreat, the photos on the website show what you can expect but being there it is even nicer. The bed is extremely comfy as well as the reclining chairs and the big jacuzzi is a real highlight. With all the facilities you can relax very well and you are ready for another day of sightseeing as there is plenty to see and do in the area. The kitchen is very well equipped and the conservatory very nice for the warmer days. We had a lovely time and can highly recommend Cotswolds Retreat!

Danke für den schönen Beitrag, und wir hoffen, Sie wieder zu sehen bald. Thank you for the lovely review and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

“Excellent resort for some relaxation”

Reviewed 29 Dec 2012

The place was easy to get to, especially when travelling from London. The property was beautifully kept and the pictures only give an insight into the reality. The owners were friendly, happy to provide advice but maintained the balance between privacy and hospitality. The town was quiet and provided all necessary amenities. A wonderful stay overall, we will be sure to return.

It is always a pleasure to hear that guests who stayed at Cotswolds Retreat had such a lovely time and appreciated the facilities we provide. Thank you for taking the time to review your stay.

“relaxing cotswold hideaway”

We stayed at the "cotswold retreat " for eight days during October. We were visiting the area to attend a friends wedding and the bungalow was in an ideal location for seeing so many lovely villages and National Trust locations. We were met on arrival by the friendly owners. If you want spacious well presented cosy accommodation, together with large luxury bathroom that represents great value for money, look no further.

Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to complete this nice review. We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay at 'Cotswolds Retreat' and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

“Beautiful, relaxing retreat within an idyllic village”

Reviewed 30 Sep 2012

We arrived at the Costwolds retreat on a Friday for a 2 night stay. The property is hidden away, and very private. The village of Hullavington is set off a country road and is stunnigly beautiful. Upon first arriving at the cottage we found it in a very clean and presentable manner, a spacious property for 1 bedroom. The place was spotless, and welcoming. We felt at home immediatly. The bathroom is gorgeous and the Jacuzzi bath is one of the most relaxing thing ive ever done! Also the bed is THE BEST ive ever slept on! There is plenty of appliances and cookware to use and found the kitchen very usuable. (with a lovely conservatory to eat in, if you wish). The owners came to welcome us and were very helpful and friendly, giving tips/hints where to visit. Lovely people. We will most certainly come back to the cotswolds retreat as 2 days just wasnt long enough. Many thanks to Mark and Susan.

“A Great Place to Relax”

Reviewed 31 Mar 2012

This cosy self-contained annexe offers modern, warm and comfortable accommodation in an ideal location for visiting a wide range of attractions and beauty spots. The owners are extremely helpful and provided clear and succinct instructions regarding the property features which included a luxurious jacuzzi. It was good to know they were just next door had we had any questions or concerns. Our only negative experience was the insufficient length of our short break and we hope to return in the near future.

Thank you for the lovely review and we look forward to you visiting again in the future.

“Lovely accomodation, reasonable price”

Reviewed 18 Jan 2012

We booked the Cotswolds retreat as a last minute break and couldn't have picked anywhere better. The cottage was spacious for a one bedroom and well equiped. It was spotlessly clean and the jacuzzi bath was a highlight. Can't describe how relaxing it was!!! The cottage is also well located for bath and other beautiful local villages. We will definately be returning as soon as we can.

It is always a great pleasure to hear that our guests have had a lovely time at Cotswolds Retreat and really enjoyed the property. Thank you both for the lovely review and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

The Cotswold Retreat is a brilliant base for couples sightseeing the South Cotswolds. It is modern, with a Kingsize comfortable bed, reclining leather chairs, a kitchenette, double jacuzzi bath and double shower. My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay there.
