Luxury cottage with pastural views in all directions. Refurbished tastefully. Large rooms: 1 king size with ensuite shower room, 1 double and 1 twin room, house bathroom. Wood burning stove, oil fired AGA cooker, so warm and cosy on arrival, double glazing, central heating, 6MB WiFi broadband, some satellite TV channels, piano and guitar. Access to south facing garden with table and chairs. The large back garden with well stocked borders, table and chairs has an unfenced pond and walltop garden levels unfenced in places. Young children must be supervised at all times if in this area. Private parking for 3 cars. Storage for bikes.Footpaths and cycle trails start from the door along the old roman road and drovers track, cycle route 68. Close to the Coniston Hotel with opportunities for fly fishing, archery, falconry, off roading and clay pigeon shooting, restaurants and bars. Evening meals also available in Bell Busk, Gargrave, Kirkby Malham, Hetton, Malham, Wigglesworth.15 mins drive

Bell Busk is a sleepy hamlet in a conservation area alongside the upper reaches of the River Aire and Otterburn Beck.. It was once the main terminus for the farming and tourist villages of Malhamdale. There was a cotton and silk mill here too until 1905.The village of Gargrave, is a 2 mile walk along the old drovers track or 10 mins in a car. Gargrave has shops, pubs and an indian restaurant, The village also has a bus and rail service.The nearby village of Hellifield provides the gateway station for the famous Settle to Carlisle railway journey; described as the most beautiful train journey in England.Granville House is on the edge of The Yorkshire Dales National Park and just a few miles from the AONB of The Forest of Bowland.Nearby there are the villages of Malham, Grassington, Horton in Ribblesdale, Ingleton, Bolton Abbey, Downham, Embsay, Kettlewell or Haworth; all famous or worth visiting in there own way.Nearby towns include Skipton, Settle, Ilkley and Clitheroe, Harrogate and Lancaster

“adresse à recommander dans un paysage magnifique”

très agréable séjour, accueil chaleureux, hôtesse souriante, parlant bien le français, toujours dispo pour vous faire découvrir les richesses touristiques et la culture de son pays(nombreuses documentations), ou des adresses plus pratiques comme les magasins d'alimentation, aux autres.... Maison très propre, joliment décorée,ambiance très "cosy" . La literie est bonne,l'équipement de cuisine adapté à la vie de 6 personnes.Superbe jardin aux 52 sortes de roses! c'est une adresse idéale pour les amoureux du calme, de la nature, de la randonnée. Paysages somptueux en automne.
