The large open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, have French doors leading out to the swimming pool with Teak garden furniture, a BBQ. and views over the sea. The suite has a wood burning stove for those cosy nights as well as heaters, a DVD player and a stereo. The suite has been tastefully decorated in neutral tones, to give the maximum sense of peace and tranquillity.

This hotel has stunning views, the rooms are clean and luxurious, fully stocked kitchen, living area and patio. We didn't want to leave! My kids swam in the pool and enjoyed the company of the host family who were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay there next time we are in Malaga.

We stayed in the bougainvillea flat of Padres Aviles in September with our 3 yo son and our then 4 mo daughter. We have to say it was one of the best holidays we had. Our son loves swimming (he was in the pool at 9am the first morning, having just finished his breakfast!!) and the pool was great with a closed shallow area for kids and a 25m long (and deep) pool for adults, where you could enjoy length swimming. The fact that we could enjoy the pool whilst the baby was napping in her cot was priceless. The flat was really big and really felt like home for a week. It was very well equipped, especially for young children, loads of toys and various kits that made our lives much easier. And the beds were very comfortable, so no sore back at the end of the holiday! We loved the location, out of the main city, with beautiful sea views. It was close enough to all the amenities of a big resort, but we could escape the crowds in our hilly paradise! We quickly got into our holiday rhythm of being out mid morning and having lunch out and back for the afternoon by the pool, whilst the kids napped, and we enjoyed BBQs on our terrace by the pool every night. Simple life, just perfect. Claire was full of great advice, both for things to do, places to eat and where to shop for amazing fresh food (fantastic local market, where we found amazing fishmongers, fresh fruits and veggies, etc). We will definitely be back!!!

Our two weeks at Padre Aviles exceeded our expectations by far! The location was simply stunning, offering privacy and perched up in the mountain overlooking the sea, surrounded by unspoilt countryside. The accommodation itself had everything we needed with young children and a baby plus some - safe beautiful swimming pool, cots, high chairs, bouncers . . everything appeared before we needed it with no effort from our lovely host Claire. Above all, it was the welcoming and friendly approach from Claire and her whole family that made us feel at ease and relaxed to truly enjoy our holiday. I highly recommend Padre Aviles and we look forward to a return trip in the future.

Padre Aviles is the most gorgeous setting, with well fitted out apartments and truly comfortable beds - a rarity in Spain. The hosts and their wonderful children made our family feel so welcome and all the kids played together ensuring that tired parents had a holiday too. It's hard to drag oneself away from Padre Aviles because it is so restful there, but Malaga is a wonderful city and the owners gave us lots of tips for visits and local restaurants. We also enjoyed the beaches which are a 10 minute drive away and the amazing lakes at El Chorro. We have booked again for this summer as it was such a success with all members of the family. is a wonderful city

We stayed in summer 2010 and went back for more in 2011, Claire & David and the whole family were especially welcoming. Our boys learnt to swim in the pool, and our eldest learnt how to ride a bike whilst there as well. Barbeque every night, down the hill every couple of days for supplies, apart from that you don't have to go anywhere!

How do damage deposits work?
