Situated on Lagada Ridge, Villa Danae Crete provides 5 bedroom luxury accommodation just outside the delightful village of Makrygialos in south east Crete.

Overlooking the sea, Villa Danae is the perfect setting for the ultimate laid back holiday in the sun with your family and friends

The villa provides quality accommodation both inside and out, in a style sympathetic to its surroundings

The lounge, kitchen and dining areas are replicated outside around the inviting PRIVATE HEATED POOL, surrounded by a terrace with sun beds, large stone gazebo and settees for lazy days in the sun and evenings under the stars.

The finishing touch is provided by the purpose built BBQ where you can enjoy a leisurely lunch in the outside dining area under the shade of the pergola

The well appointed lounge extends onto a patio with further comfortable seating

There is a double (king size) ensuite bedroom on the ground floor, ideal for older guests or those with disability, complete with grab handles and wide doors for wheelchair access.

The whole ground floor has been designed to facilitate older or disabled guests with ramps enabling access all round the ground floor inside and out.

Upstairs you will find another 2 double (king size) en suite bedrooms and 2 twins with house bathroom all with private balconies. The twin beds can be joined to make further king size beds - the villa will accommodate 11 in beds + 1 baby in a cot

And for all you sun worshipers and stargazers, there's the roof terrace

Air conditioning is provided in the lounge, dining room and all bedrooms

There is a cot and high chair (more available - just ask) and a comprehensive baby kit

If you've had enough sunshine, the lounge has a music system (iPod, mp3, cd, radio) and a 42" tv with satellite tv, DVD player, Wii and Playstation3 (bring your own games but make sure they are compatible first!) and the wireless router for internet connection via our satellite dish

Villa Danae is ideal for an extended family group, 2 families sharing or for 4-5 couples

Why can't I call Steve & Kay (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Steve & Kay (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Steve & Kay (the owner) a message.

If Steve & Kay (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
