This secluded 1,300-square-foot cabin, located on 2.5 wooded acres at 3800 feet, comfortably sleeps 5 and offers a rustic interior, wood-burning fireplace, private hot tub, fire pit, and 2 spacious decks with mountain views. Ski at the Cataloochee Ski Area, hike the Great Smoky Mountains, or watch for wildlife near the serene stream meandering below the home!

Nestled in the trees above Maggie Valley, this mountain house is surrounded by the sights and sounds of the outdoors and built for nature lovers! Step inside the rustically themed living room and sink into one of the 2 comfortable leather couches. If you're a bird enthusiast, use the binoculars, field guides, and journal provided to document the many birds visiting the home.

Begin your day with a hot cup of coffee at either the indoor or outdoor dining tables and map out your day. The window-lined great room boasts a tall vaulted ceiling, a variety of wooden accents, and stunning views of the surrounding area. Before you head out the door, prepare a to-go breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen and eat it on the way to the mountains!

When you return to the cabin, unwind by watching your favorite streaming or cable movies on the 50-inch flat-screen TV with a BluRay Player in the living room. The wood-burning fireplace provides the perfect cozy ambiance on cold winter evenings.

Celebrate your first night in the house by preparing a feast on the deck's gas grill, and dining at the covered outdoor dining table. Whether it's winter or summer, the back deck provides jaw-dropping views of the Great Smoky Mountains in the distance. Finish off the night by roasting s'mores at the outdoor fire pit while doing some stargazing or recuperating in the soothing hot tub.

The closest entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is about 15 miles away, taking you to the Cataloochee Valley where you are likely to see indigenous elk. The mountain features 50 skiable acres, a vertical summit of 5,400-feet, and plenty of varied skill level terrain for all skiers to enjoy.

Drive about 38 miles to reach the famous Appalachian Trail, a 2,200-mile trail that stretches from Georgia to Maine. The area also has a litany of fun trails, spots for picnics, or gorgeous roads for scenic drives. This river-filled land provides plenty of opportunities to spend an afternoon on the water ranging from whitewater rafting to lazy river floating.
