Beautiful and romantic, this Trawsfynydd accommodation for 2 offers a fantastic, central location to explore Snowdonia National Park. Once the provider of fresh bread for the whole village, this old village bakery now provides a modern, stylish retreat for couples, with plenty of interior comfort. The number of attractions and activities are endless.

For relaxing days out you have steam trains, slate caverns, castles, gardens, numerous walks, cafes and lovely little towns. For thrill seekers, you have the longest zip wire and the largest underground trampoline in Europe, world renowned mountain biking centres and much more.

The open plan living area offers a luxurious reclining sofa with modern furniture and flat screen TV. High vaulted ceiling.

Modern, high gloss kitchen housing a fridge/freezer compartment, dishwasher, hob/cooker and many other appliances.

Welcome pack on arrival. This includes milk, tea, coffee, biscuit & some cooking essentials (e.g oil, oxo, tomato & brown sauce). Bottle of either sparkling white or rose, red, white or rose wine. Chocolate cake or bara brith. If possible could you state your preference in both please.

Becws Clyd is located in a peaceful setting, yet within walking distance along a single country lane to all the village's amenities. The nearest shops are just a 2 minute walk from your cottage, where all necessities are provided. The local Historic Heritage Centre is also within walking distance.

The best places to eat nearby include the Grapes in Maentwrtog (5 miles), Lakeside Café by Trawsfynydd lake (2 miles) and Rhiw Goch in Bronaber (3 miles). There are plenty of other recommended restaurants within a short distance, including Bwyty Mawddach in Llanelltyd and Castell Deudraeth (11 miles), Cross Foxes near Dolgellau and Hebog in Beddgelert (16 miles) and several to choose from in Betws-y-Coed (20 miles). The nearest good pubs are Rhiw Goch and Grapes.

Some of the best attractions nearby include Coed y Brenin's world renowned Mountain Biking Centre and Go Ape Adventures (6 miles), the Zip Wire and underground trampoline at Blaenau Ffestiniog (9 miles). You also have the Ffestiniog and Highland Railway from Porthmadog (12 miles) and the National White Water Centre near Bala (14 miles).

For relaxing days out, there are plenty of beautiful Welsh market towns and villages to explore, Portmeirion, numerous gardens, castles and slate caverns. Not to mention the highest mountains in Wales and endless miles of glorious beaches.
