The drawing room has glorious views of the immaculate grounds and has a large corner sofa in front of the original open fire. A flat screen TV and DVD player provide entertainment while the desk is ideal for those who want to catch up on emails (WiFi is provided) or to show this stunning house to friends! Across the hall is the impressive dining room with its high ceiling, slate floor and wood-burning stove.

A door from the dining room leads into the snug with huge flat screen TV with Playstation3 and plenty of games – the ideal haven for children. The large utility room with washing machine and separate tumble dryer is also located off this room.

Large comfy beds are a feature of each of the first floor bedrooms decorated in calming tones with many original features such as fireplaces retained. The master bedroom has a super-king bed with plenty of closet space and views of the garden, steps lead down to the ensuite shower room with walk-in shower, WC and basin.

There are three further bedrooms on this floor - a lovely light room with super-king bed and leather sofa, a pretty room complete with four poster king size bed, and a further bedroom with views across the valley which contains a double bed and a single bed in a separate room.

The luxury continues with the family bathroom beautifully finished with walk-in shower, bath, basin and WC.

The final bedroom with twin single beds is located at the far end of the house and can be reached by a second staircase leading from the snug or from bedroom 2 via the ensuite bathroom with bath, WC and basin.

The gardens are a particular feature of Penrose Farmhouse with various seating areas to relax including a swing-seat and a garden house with sofa. The sunny patios are perfect for dining alfresco or enjoying a BBQ in fine weather.

For the energetic there are plenty of walks directly from the door (Maenporth beach is just a short walk away) while water sports such as surfing and kayaking are available at nearby Swanpool Beach, or why not simply stay at home and enjoy the international size tennis court in the grounds of the house?

Penrose Farm is a superb family home in a quiet secluded location yet with everything on your doorstep.
