If you are looking for a quiet get away but still near to the restaurants and nightlife of Malta this is the place for you.The apartment is part of a residential block in a tranquil setting just 4km from the bustling nightlife and restaurants of St.Julians and Paceville. It is recommended that you hire a car, as it is around a 15 minute walk down the valley to the nearest bus stop. There is a one car garage parking space provided within the gated residence.Great for a family holiday, with pool on site and a very short distance to a water park and several beaches nearby, the nearest one is 3km away. The apartment has air conditioning units in all bedrooms and in the lounge/dining area. if you require the air conditioning there is a small additional weekly charge of £50/€65. All the bedrooms have large glass doors leading on to the large balcony. Sleeping arrangements are accommodated with three bedrooms. The master bedroom (with en-suite shower room) has a King size bed. The second bedroom has one double bed and one single bed and the third bedroom/snug is set up as a cozy second lounge with a double sofa bed.POOL OPENS BETWEEN 01 MAY AND 15 MAY. POOL CLOSES 31 OCTOBER. Although the apartment is wheelchair accessible by lift, the pool is only accessible by stairs.

The Island of Malta region
Malta is a collection of low lying limestone islands in the Mediterranean Sea about 90 kilometres south of Sicily. It has a warm temperate climate with hot dry summers and milder winters when there is some rainfall.
Malta is an independent nation and one of the smallest countries in the world, it is a member of the EU. Uniquely Malta has its own language, although almost everyone speaks English and many speak Italian also.
Malta 's central position in the Mediterranean has involved it, often unwillingly, in conflicts happening in the area, therefore giving it a depth of history and cultural heritage relatively too large for its size. Its history is one of the main attractions for tourists who visit this small, central and historic island. This extraordinary history, that goes back 7000 years, possesses one of the largest number of monuments and historic sites in the world including several World Heritage sites. The Megalithic Temples of Malta are the oldest free-standing structures on Earth, even older than the Pyramids. Eleven prehistoric monuments, of which seven are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, were built between 5000BC and 700BC approximately.
The two main islands of Malta and Gozo have a combined area that is smaller than the Isle of Wight in the UK, and a population of just over 400,000 people. Almost every acre of land is either cultivated or built on, but there are also many nice beaches and secluded coves
The ancient capital of Mdina is one that dates from around 700 BC when the Phoenicians occupied the islands. Since then Malta has been fought over by the Greeks, the Romans, the Carthaginians, Arabs, Normans, and more recently by the French and British.
Madliena, situated in and around a picturesque valley, is endowed with magnificent views of the northern bays of the island. It is situated at a high elevation and close to the tourist village of St Paul's Bay and its beaches while at the same time it is only minutes away from the heart of entertainment and shopping in St. Julians.
Madliena is considered to be a gem of natural beauty. It owes its origin to the Chapel of St. Mary Magdalene which was built in the 15th century. Historical sites located in Madliena include the Victoria Lines, Madliena Fort and The Batteria San Giovanni. Also, lying to the north-eastern side of the Victoria Lines is Fort Madliena which was built by the British in the 1880's.
Madliena is mainly a residential area where you will find large detached villas, bungalows and luxury apartment developments. It is a sought after area with the natural beauty of the valley and the excellent views towards the sea and as far as St. Pauls Bay.

"Perfect place, perfect holiday."
This was our first stay to this perfect fully furnished apartment, My partner and myself came for a 2 week holiday and found the perfect apartment in a great location. It is a short walk from the seafront and 5min drive to nightlife of St.Julian with easy access to buses. The balcony is fantastic we had early morning breakfasts and cosy evenings meals on it, we love the professional interior design of the place, The owner is always helpful and accommodating, this apartment is really a 10/10 apartment we are booking to stay again for next year.

"Excellent stay, will be returning!"
Had a fabulous time at Madliena Village, I travelled alone as was visiting friends that live in Malta, I wanted something with a bit of space and was pleasently suprised that there is more than enough room! Even with 6 people I'd be quite comfortable! The large frontage and terrace is great for sunny evenings to have your dinner and the pool was lovely, although shared with other apartments, I only say one other person there on one occasion so was great. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable and I slept like a log. The rest of the apartment is the same and you would think it's never been stayed in. I couldn't fault it. Noise was fine, had no issue from other appartments and felt comfortable that I had my own space. Parking was good and location was quick and easy from the coast road, you should really have a car to get about but that's the same with most places on the island. Joe the owner and Andy the local contact were both very helpful with great communication and were a pleasure to deal with. All in all I had an excellent stay here and for the size of the property is very good value for money. I've already discussed with Joe that I would like to return later in the year and I can't wait.
