This is a perfect holiday retreat for a couple or small family seeking some peace and quiet in an idyllic setting in Powys.
It is set at the end of a half mile woodland track in an acre of grounds just over 6 miles from Machynlleth which is an historic Market Town and has a thriving and colourful market every Wednesday. Aberdovey is just a half hour away and has a beauiful long beach.
There is plenty to do in the area including visiting the Centre for Alternative Technology, Corris Craft Centre, Talyllyn Steam Railway, Dyfi Osprey Project, RSPB Ynyshir, Ynyslas Nature Reserve as well as Cader Idris, Glyndwr's Way and Cli-Machx and Mach 1, 2 and 3 mountain bike trails for the energetic.

The front door leads to the attractive Kitchen and Dining Room.
The well equipped KITCHEN AREA is fitted with a range of units and has an electric cooker, halogen hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and a washing machine.
The DINING AREA has a round dining table and 3 chairs.
There are carpeted stairs to the lovely contemporary sitting and bedroom areas.
The SITTING AREA has a comfortable sofa, easy chair, coffee table, TV with DVD player and a selection of DVDs.
The SLEEPING AREA is furnished with a king size zip link bed (can be split into two 2'6" beds if required), bedside tables and chest of drawers.
There is a 2'6'' fold up bed available for occasional use.
The SHOWER ROOM has a white suite of shower, WC, wash hand basin and built in wardrobe.
Garden & Parking
An acre of beautiful grounds surround the cottage and sheep graze the open hillside beyond. There are several areas to sit outside and enjoy the pond, pretty gardens and the stunning view.
There is a patio area with furniture and barbecue in the gravelled courtyard which has a sheer stone "cliff" and a small stream.
The owners (who live in the main house) are happy to share the use of their lovely garden.
Parking for two cars.
Heating and hot water are by bottled gas combi-boiler - this is included in the rental from May to September and charged for at a flat rate of £25 per week at all other times (please pay at property).
There is a boiler room and borehole water filtration system providing delicious free spring water.
There is no baby equipment - you may bring your own.
Clothes drying and bike storage space is available in the adjacent large store shed.
Towels are included.
Up to two dogs are welcome and there is a large, safe indoor kennel area for two (bring your own dog beds).
Dog sitting can also be arranged.
We are here to answer any queries you may have every day of the year including bank holidays except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
The Powys region
The thriving market town of Machynlleth is 7 miles north and Aberystwyth is 17miles south. Aberdovey is a half hour drive with stunning scenery along the way. Borth, 20 miles away, boasts one of Ceredigion's longest and most golden of beaches - stretching over two miles to Ynyslas and the Dyfi National Nature Reserve. There is a pub within 2 miles . This really is a fantastic property in a beautiful part of the world and well worth exploring.
