“Fantastic accommodation!”

Reviewed 8 Jan 2017

Stayed here December 2016 and had a wonderful time. Bungalow is beautiful, spotlessly clean, top quality furnishings - and one of the most comfortable beds ever! Five minutes walk to the seafront and the town, private garden and parking, very quiet, can't rate the Lodge highly enough. Alan and Joy were so welcoming and helpful, and had decorated the Lodge for Christmas - really felt like a home from home. Thank you so much. Carolyn and Paul.

Owner's reply: That is such a lovely review, thank you so much. Glad you found the bed so comfortable!!! Hope you make it back to this area sometime!

“A lovely christmas break”

Reviewed 30 Dec 2016

We stayed at st georges lodge for 3 nights over christmas. The lodge is a home from home. Its nautical decoration throughout is so welcoming and its a really nice size. The lodge is lovely and clean. Within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Its a really good base to explore lytham st annes. Lytham is a 10 minute drive away and is worth a visit with its gorgeous windmill. The lovely Alan and Joy greeted us on arrival with a welcome pack. They where very helpful and made sure we was settled in. All in all a really great Christmas break for our family. I would definately recommend it.

Owner's reply: Thank you for such a lovely review. We're glad you all enjoyed Christmas in the lodge, and found plenty to do in the area. Hope to see you again and best wishes for the new year.

“absolutely marvellous accomadation.”

the welcome on arrival was unbelieveable ,did not expect it,Joy was there to greet us.and explain how everything was and how things worked.the lodge could not be faulted in any way, every thing you could want was there. the lodges décor was perfect, everything fitted into place. you had the privacy which was very good.no stairs to climb which was a added bonus for us perfect. the time to go into Blackpool was about 5mins.climbing the sand dunes was great with lovely views out to sea.also public transport links at the end of the street. we will be looking forward to going back their in the near future, cannot recommend it enough. , did not expect

Owner's reply: Thank you for such a lovely review, we really appreciate it when guests take time out to post one, and new guests often comment on reading them. We would love to welcome you back in the future.

“Fantastic stay!!!!!!!!!!”

Reviewed 30 Aug 2016

Alan & Joy, the owners of the Lodge were very welcoming and friendly when we arrived. They left a welcome pack which was a lovely gesture. The Lodge was very clean, spacious and relaxing. Some nice finishing touches in the rooms. The conservatory room was an added bonus. Very close to shops, beach, pier etc by foot and ten minutes to Blackpool by car...very useful! We loved our stay here and didn't want to come home! Would thoroughly recommend this lovely Lodge to anybody else!!

Owner's reply: That's such a lovely review, thank you very much. Glad you enjoyed your holiday and everything our area offers!! Hope we see you again up north!!!!!

Reviewed 22 Aug 2016

we have just returned from a fantastic weeks holiday. the weather was excellent and did not rain until the last day which meant we were out and about every day. we could not find any faults with the cottage, i think previous tenants have listed every good point many times and we cant wait to return. thanks again george & lynda.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review we much appreciate it. You were really lucky with the weather, which shows our area at it's best!!!! Hope to see you again

“Little Gem”

Reviewed 17 Jul 2016

Just returned from a few days at St George's Lodge. Such a little gem. A lovely little bungalow in St. Anne's. Tastefully furnished and decorated. There is everything you would need including a sun room. A short walk from the shops, restaurants and beach.Friendly owners Alan & Joy welcomed us with a bottle of Cava and other essentials. We were very comfortable there and had a nice break. We will certainly return and will recommend to family and friends.

Owner's reply: So pleased you enjoyed your short break, and pleased to see you would recommend us to family and friends. That's the best compliment we could have!!! Hope to see you again.
