Harbour Point is located in the pretty seaside town of Lynmouth, known locally as 'Little Switzerland', where Exmoor meets the sea. It is a haven for walkers as the fantastic Exmoor is just on your doorstep. For those who like to be on the beach the long sandy, golden beaches of. Woolacombe, Croyde and Westward Ho! are all close by.
A landmark property in the heart of the village with uninterrupted sea views. Just stroll across the esplanade and you are on the beach or at the harbour watching the sail boats and surfers. Fantastic views of the sea, village and hills from almost every room make it a very special place to stay all year round. Shops, pubs, restaurants and the quintessential British fish and chip shop are all on your doorstep.
With 3 large, all en-suite, bedrooms it can sleep up to 8 people comfortably. The master bedroom has a small balcony for you to sit and enjoy alfresco dining with the sound of the sea. The Turret bedroom is a unique octagonal shaped room with a beautiful slipper bath in the bedroom.
A 40" LCD TV with Freeview, Leather sofas, Oak dining table, DVD and Ipod dock are in the lounge with wireless broadband* throughout - a real home from home.
For our little guests, we have a high chair, cot, steriliser, toddler step, change mat, selection of toys and books.

“Perfect place to stay.”
Had a family holiday here. Could not have been better. Easily booked, in contact with owner throughout, did not feel abandoned. Accommodation had plenty of space, bedrooms a very good size very comfortable and clean. Loved it and will stay again.

“Great Place in Beautiful Location”
The location is amazing and the house was clean, spacious and had fantastic views from all rooms. The bedrooms were lovely and all had ensuite bathrooms and the kitchen was fully equipped (although we ate out most of the time as there are so many lovely places to eat and drink right on the doorstep!). Great value for money and would highly recommend for a unique place to stay in a beautiful area. Great time was had by all.

We have stayed at Harbour Point two years running, our party being four adults and two teenagers, spanning three generations. The property is very unique and spacious, set in a prime position overlooking the harbour, in the picturesque village of Lynmouth. The apartment is very well equipped with plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery, so that best use can be made of the dishwasher. We did an online Tesco shop, which was very convenient, as there are no grocery shops in Lynmouth and it's a steep climb up to Lynton, where there are two convenience stores. Of course you can use the nearby cliff railway, which is a fascinating experience, but costs £3.70 return for an adult, or £20 for a weekly pass. Lynmouth has lots of souvenir shops and is great for pasties, cream teas, fish and chips, ice cream and fudge, (but not for the waistline). You can, however, work some of it off on the putting green or tennis courts. There were high spring tides during our stay and it was exciting watching the huge waves crashing against the harbour walls.There were surfers out and the coastguards on hand and all could be watched from the comfort of the apartment, if you didn't want to be out amongst the action. The two mile riverside walk along to Watersmeet is lovely, with the promise of a cream tea at Watersmeet House, a former fishing lodge, now a tearoom run by the National Trust. We had a good day at Dunster Castle and Minehead beach and a day cycling along the Tarka Trail, a disused railway line, starting from Barnstaple railway station. All in all, once again, we had a fabulous holiday, and would love to return on day.

This is a great place to stay. One of the locals we talked to said he thought it was the best place in Lynmouth, and we agreed. We sat out on the balcony morning and evening, watching the boat owners working, and even when it was drizzling we were in the dry due to a good roof over the balcony. The central position is a big plus, we did not use the car once in the whole week, lots of gentle walking hereabouts, with the advantage of the cliff railway to avoid hills! Recommend walk up Watersmeet to tea rooms, The Glen, and Castle Rock superb walk. Also the lovely boat ride along the coast when the tide is high, leaves from directly below the balcony! Lots to do here! Recommend the Rock House and le Bistro for eating out, and for eating out on the balcony, good fish and chips from next door!

“A wonderful place to stay”
Went to Harbour Point for my 60th birthday with the family. The weather was perfect with the sun out every day. We stayed in the balcony room and often sat out with a cup of coffee or glass of wine and watched the world go by. The views were fantastic. The superking bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The cleanliness of the property was excellent. I would recommend going out to eat at the Rock House. Went there on my birthday and had an excellent meal. All in all a wonderful place to stay.

“What a view!”
We loved Harbour Point! Watching the surfers out in the cold whilst lying in bed in the warmth of the balcony and turret rooms was great! Even in November we managed to have coffee on the balcony whilst watching the world go by, and the turret room with the slipper bath was so romantic. Harbour point has a wonderful large lounge / diner with views to the sea and town, and a well-equipped kitchen. The downstairs hallway was great for sorting the dogs out after a day on the beach or walking. Parking in November wasn't too bad, but I would imagine it would be more of a challenge in season. Would we go back? Like a shot!!

“All round fab place to stay, great views, excellent, recommended”
Fab property in an excellent location, great views, abundance of things to do in the local area and further afield too. Good mix of local shops, restaurants and pubs. Have stayed in and visited the surrounding area for many years and would certainly recommend Harbour Point, easy acess to places of interest, you will not be disappointed.
