Situated on a 15-acre working farm with a pond right outside the front door and a beautiful stocked stream running through the property, this lovely home provides a serene environment for 6 guests. You’ll find it easy to leave all of your cares and worries behind while staying at this rustic cabin in the woods. Nestled on a forested, 15-acre working farm with chickens, pigs, a private pond and stocked stream, this home is the definition of tranquility.

Bordering both the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests, this property allows for literally thousands of acres of hiking, hunting, fishing, trail biking, and other forest activities.

Look forward to fishing in the stream adjacent the cabin, which is stocked upstream by the state periodically, and roasting marshmallows with your loved ones around the fire pit. Relax in the hammock, lounge on the deck, or fire up the gas grill for a cookout, all while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

This authentic-style log cabin was built from mature Poplar, Hickory, Cherry, Maple, and Oak trees, harvested from and milled on the property by the homeowner and neighbors.

Inside, the brand new log cabin offers 1,350 square feet of comfortable appointed living space. Wood walls, floors, and vaulted ceilings add to the rustic ambiance of this charming cabin.

The open floor plan combines the kitchen, living room and dining area, making it easy to spend time with your travel companions throughout your stay.

The chef of the group will delight in the fully equipped kitchen, which features every necessary appliance and ample counterspace with an island for guaranteed ease in meal preparation.

If you’re not doing the cooking, lounge on the comfy couch next to the wood-burning stove in the living area. Turn on the Smart TV and choose from your favorite shows or movies on Netflix.

When breakfast, lunch or dinner is ready, gather around the dining table to enjoy your meals with the group. Afterwards, make your way out onto the deck to sip your favorite beverage while enjoying the serene pond and woodland views.
