Location description from owner

The England region

Lympstone

The Coach House is a mile from a wild expanse of common heathland offering walking, horseriding and off road cycling. It is within easy driving distance of East Devon's Heritage coastline with beaches at Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth or, on the other side of the estuary, Dawlish, Teignmouth and Coryton Cove. There are pedestrian ferries, cruises and fishing/birdwatching trips on the River Exe, which is hugged by many miles of cycle/walkway, an R.S.P.B. sanctuary at Topsham, botanical gardens at Bicton Park and an award winning children's adventure park at Crealy Park. 8 miles away is the city of Exeter with its magnificent cathedral, pedestrianised shopping centre and river walks. The edge of the Dartmoor National Park is half an hour's drive away.Lympstone itself is a delightful village with a small harbour, well-stocked shop, post office and four pubs; it is a past winner of Britain in Bloom.
