A FEW OF THE ENTRIES FROM OUR GUEST BOOK -

Just a brief note to thank you for your hospitality over the last week. We have really enjoyed staying in your house and found everything exceptionally nice. You really do provide everything that anyone could ever need. F.Z. Spain.

"Just a short note to thank you for the privilege of staying at your lovely home. We found the property to be deceptively spacious and very comfortable to live in. It was really clean and amazingly well-equipped for a holiday rental. It was our first time to visit the location and the house was very well situated to enjoy the Coast and the New Forest. We have had a most enjoyable holiday." B.W.

"Your house was excellent - comfortable and warm, and very well located. There were so many beautiful places to visit in the area. Our 18-year old son particularly appreciated the DVD collection, I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Grafton. We were sorry to leave!" K.K. Germany.

"home from home"we have stayed at graftons on five of our trips to the uk from spain over the last couple of years , we have found the house very comfortable and clean and very well maintained, an easy situated base to explore the new forest and market day on saturdays is a must. mr & mrs legge from alicante spain"A really pleasant holiday home, ideally situated for lots of beach"We and our children enjoyed every day of our three week vacation at Grafton. The house is located in a nice and quiet neighbourhood and you can reach the charming towncenter of Lymington within a vew minutes drive. Within short drives you get to lots of wonderful places at the New Forest as well as different beaches or beautiful gardens. A boat trip from Lymington harbour to the Isle of Wight is worth doing several times. Within 45 minutes you also get to Poole and Bornemouth by car with great beaches and shopping facilities. The house itself is spacious enough for a longer family stay and the rooms are light and cheerful. It's also nice to have a little garden and terrace of your own. Everything is well organized and clean. Car parking nearby the house is available. Anyway this was one of our most pleasant holiday homes and we will surely come back. By Ina and Stephan from Germany

“Immaculately presented, homely, ideally located holiday home perfect for families.”

Reviewed 8 Apr 2015

The owners of this property have thought of everything; from the milk, tea, coffee and biscuits there on arrival, to the towels for the dog after muddy walks. The booking through the owners website was efficient and any queries before and during the stay responded to quickly. The house is spacious and lends itself well to a family. Although there is only one bathroom, there is a vanity unit in the master bedroom, a cloakroom downstairs and the bathroom has a separate bath and shower. The kitchen is well equipped and spotlessly clean, like everywhere else. The lounge and dining area is comfortable. Although the weather wasn't warm enough to sit in the courtyard garden, this would be a suntrap in the summer. The owners provide lots of guidance about the local area. There are dog walks on the doorstep, a playground and leisure centre within walking distance and it is only a short drive or 15 minute walk to Lymington town centre.

“Couldn't ask for more”

A lovely base to explore the New Forest and surrounding areas. A great deal of thought has gone into making sure everything you need is provided. We travel up and down the country regularly and I can honestly say I have never stayed in anywhere so well equipped and spotlessly clean. Will definitely stay again.

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay so much. Thank you very much for taking the time to send a review. You will be very welcome to return. Regards Tina.

“A charming and spotless property well located in Lymington”

Reviewed 10 Feb 2014

We stayed at Grafton in early Feb. Despite awful weather, we had a brilliant weekend. The house is well located and Is in a quiet residential spot and easy to find. It is absolutely spotless with all the amenities you would expect such as wifi, large kitchen and bathroom and very comfortable bed. Even though there was only the two of us, it would be an ideal rental for a family holiday. Lots to do and see...try the noisy lobster at Avon Beach! Great crab sandwich!!

“Our stay was absolutely fantastic. A home away from home.”

I would highly recommend Grafton Holiday Home. It is so well situated, immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. Tina and Mike couldn't be more helpful. We were delighted when we were able to extend our stay and were loathed to leave on our last day. We will definitely be back for another holiday in this charming home.

“Cumfy, cosy, home from home”

Reviewed 1 May 2013

We stayed at Grafton holiday home at the beginning of April and found it to be a very comfortable and relaxing house. On arrival, the house was clean to a very high standard and we had everything we needed for the duration of our stay, even down to the landline to order takeaway and old towels for the dog and muddy shoes. The bottle of wine in the fridge was an very welcome touch after a long journey down to Lymington. Booking is pleasurable as the owners, Tina and Mike, are easy to contact, quick with responses and any questions and queries you may have are answered in detail. We also found the house was in a quiet and secluded location, just outside of Lymington with a few shops and takeaways a few minutes walk and a lovely pub just down the road.

So glad you enjoyed staying at the house so much. We would be glad to welcome you back. Tina.

“A most relaxing and restful break”

Reviewed 22 Apr 2013

This house is like a tardis! There is plenty of room for hubby and I and our two young boys :-). It's in a great location too with so much to do near by. We went to Paultons Park (Peppa Pig World) and Bournemouth. The owners are really helpful and the booking process was really straighforward. We will also always remember 'Dooey' the little sparrow how hopped on the livingroom window each morning hoping for toast crumbs. We will certainly be back :-)

“Lovely house in a good position and access to local amenities”

Reviewed 20 Aug 2012

The house was very clean and tidy and a nice touch was the tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and bottle of wine on arival. Also we had a phone call at lunchtime to tell us that the house was ready for us to occupy as soon as we arrived down there. It was comfotable and with two little ones it was like a home from home. I travelled with my wife, daughter and 2 granddaughters (aged 4 and 18 months) so it was very much aimed at the children and the area has much for them to enjoy. The property is only a five minute walk to local shops which include a newsagent, fish & chips shop, Chinese and Indian takeaways and a pizza takeaway.

“Fantastic holiday home for a New Forest visit”

Reviewed 24 Apr 2012

We stayed in this property for a week to visit the New Forest and Peppa Pig World for my 2 year old. The house is lovely, spotlessly clean and very roomy. Tina was so helpful in the run up to our visit, when we arrived there was even a bottle of wine in the fridge to welcome us! We had a lovely time there and will definitely be staying again, would recommend this house to anyone.

“Great location, well equipped house”

Reviewed 6 Jan 2012

My parents, sister and I had a lovely Christmas break at this house. Lymington is a lovely town with some nice tea rooms and cooking shops. Went down to the coast almost every day and headed into the New Forest for a few days. The house is a modern terrace. It has a through lounge dining room arrangement which is great for getting people together. The owners are really helpful and provide absolutely everything we could have wished for from washing powder to Christmas decorations! Overall a brilliant experience. Crispin

“Lovely comfortable family home with everything you could possibly need!”

Lovely comfortable family home, with everything you could possibly need! Spotlessly clean! Due to the bad weather (!) we made good use of the house and found the DVD collection second to none! Very pleased to find such a secure garden - perfect for the dog!
