“Good holiday stay”
A well-appointed 3 bedroom property with nearby on-road parking. Well equipped, warm & comfortable and spotlessly clean on arrival. There was a good supply of board games and DVDs plus wifi. There was a lovely welcome pack of groceries on arrival and it was nice to have a phone call from the owner to check we were ok. The property is very well positioned for the coastal area around Lymington and the New Forest, also close to the ferry for the Isle of Wight. All in all, a very good holiday stay and we would happily go back.
“Immaculately presented, homely, ideally located holiday home perfect for families.”
The owners of this property have thought of everything; from the milk, tea, coffee and biscuits there on arrival, to the towels for the dog after muddy walks. The booking through the owners website was efficient and any queries before and during the stay responded to quickly. The house is spacious and lends itself well to a family. Although there is only one bathroom, there is a vanity unit in the master bedroom, a cloakroom downstairs and the bathroom has a separate bath and shower. The kitchen is well equipped and spotlessly clean, like everywhere else. The lounge and dining area is comfortable. Although the weather wasn't warm enough to sit in the courtyard garden, this would be a suntrap in the summer. The owners provide lots of guidance about the local area. There are dog walks on the doorstep, a playground and leisure centre within walking distance and it is only a short drive or 15 minute walk to Lymington town centre.
“Couldn't ask for more”
A lovely base to explore the New Forest and surrounding areas. A great deal of thought has gone into making sure everything you need is provided. We travel up and down the country regularly and I can honestly say I have never stayed in anywhere so well equipped and spotlessly clean. Will definitely stay again.
Owner's reply: We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay so much. Thank you very much for taking the time to send a review. You will be very welcome to return. Regards Tina.
“A charming and spotless property well located in Lymington”
We stayed at Grafton in early Feb. Despite awful weather, we had a brilliant weekend. The house is well located and Is in a quiet residential spot and easy to find. It is absolutely spotless with all the amenities you would expect such as wifi, large kitchen and bathroom and very comfortable bed. Even though there was only the two of us, it would be an ideal rental for a family holiday. Lots to do and see...try the noisy lobster at Avon Beach! Great crab sandwich!!
“Our stay was absolutely fantastic. A home away from home.”
I would highly recommend Grafton Holiday Home. It is so well situated, immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. Tina and Mike couldn't be more helpful. We were delighted when we were able to extend our stay and were loathed to leave on our last day. We will definitely be back for another holiday in this charming home.
“Cumfy, cosy, home from home”
We stayed at Grafton holiday home at the beginning of April and found it to be a very comfortable and relaxing house. On arrival, the house was clean to a very high standard and we had everything we needed for the duration of our stay, even down to the landline to order takeaway and old towels for the dog and muddy shoes. The bottle of wine in the fridge was an very welcome touch after a long journey down to Lymington. Booking is pleasurable as the owners, Tina and Mike, are easy to contact, quick with responses and any questions and queries you may have are answered in detail. We also found the house was in a quiet and secluded location, just outside of Lymington with a few shops and takeaways a few minutes walk and a lovely pub just down the road.
Owner's reply: So glad you enjoyed staying at the house so much. We would be glad to welcome you back. Tina.
“A most relaxing and restful break”
This house is like a tardis! There is plenty of room for hubby and I and our two young boys :-). It's in a great location too with so much to do near by. We went to Paultons Park (Peppa Pig World) and Bournemouth. The owners are really helpful and the booking process was really straighforward. We will also always remember 'Dooey' the little sparrow how hopped on the livingroom window each morning hoping for toast crumbs. We will certainly be back :-)
“Lovely house in a good position and access to local amenities”
The house was very clean and tidy and a nice touch was the tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and bottle of wine on arival. Also we had a phone call at lunchtime to tell us that the house was ready for us to occupy as soon as we arrived down there. It was comfotable and with two little ones it was like a home from home. I travelled with my wife, daughter and 2 granddaughters (aged 4 and 18 months) so it was very much aimed at the children and the area has much for them to enjoy. The property is only a five minute walk to local shops which include a newsagent, fish & chips shop, Chinese and Indian takeaways and a pizza takeaway.
“Fantastic holiday home for a New Forest visit”
We stayed in this property for a week to visit the New Forest and Peppa Pig World for my 2 year old. The house is lovely, spotlessly clean and very roomy. Tina was so helpful in the run up to our visit, when we arrived there was even a bottle of wine in the fridge to welcome us! We had a lovely time there and will definitely be staying again, would recommend this house to anyone.
“Great location, well equipped house”
My parents, sister and I had a lovely Christmas break at this house. Lymington is a lovely town with some nice tea rooms and cooking shops. Went down to the coast almost every day and headed into the New Forest for a few days. The house is a modern terrace. It has a through lounge dining room arrangement which is great for getting people together. The owners are really helpful and provide absolutely everything we could have wished for from washing powder to Christmas decorations! Overall a brilliant experience. Crispin
