Description

A luxury detached B&B for two in the New Forest. Set in the New Forest National Park, minutes from the sea and Lymington town centre with its great shops, restaurants and bustling market. Great for a seaside break!

Our detached studio B&B is located adjacent to our house at the top of a hill just outside Lymington. With its own entrance and private parking you also have your own private terrace with outdoor seating. Large studio room with en-suite shower room, separate kitchen with microwave, fridge, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Superking size bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and White Company towels. Sleeps two adults (cot on request for babe in arms).

We provide a daily breakfast hamper with freshly made bread, pastries, cereals, local jams and preserves, seasonal fruit, fresh coffee/tea and freshly squeezed juice delivered to your door between 8.30am and 10am. Earlier breakfasts can be served but please request prior to arrival. Cereals, porridge, teas and coffee pods, milk & mineral water are all stocked in the Studio.

“Lovely little private B&B in Lymington”

Our 2nd stay here, we came back because we loved it so much. Beautiful little private B&B separate to the house. AMAZING bed and bedding, fantastic breakfast hamper delivered to your door and genuinely lovely hosts. Annabelle and Jon are always so welcoming and friends - highly recommend, we will definitely be back !!!

We stayed at the 'Studio By The Sea', which offers a perfect escape to the country, while being close enough to Lymington to make the most of the seaside town, which is within walking distance. We spent a fabulous couple days at the b&b enjoying amazing home made breakfasts, courtesy of Annabelle, who made us feel comfortable and is the perfect owner - being there if needed but leaving us to our own devices otherwise. The cottage is furnished to an incredibly high standard with some very thoughtful touches and the care and attention of the owner really shines through. We loved our time in the property and have already recommended it to various friends and family as a delightful getaway. 5 stars!

“Paradise by the sea”

I loved the idea of staying in a B&B separate from the owners property and this one met all our expectations. The property was exquisitely decorated & furnished to a very high standard, yet cosy and comfortable. Little extras such as flowers in the room, bottles of water in the fridge and tasty biscuits were lovely touches. The view over the field to the sea was lovely, especially while having breakfast on the private patio. Breakfast was deliciously healthy and although a cooked breakfast isn't available, it made a welcome change and for me and wasn't missed. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. A flower and box of chocolates on the breakfast tray one morning as she remembered it was my birthday was extremely thoughtful. The property is very well situated for touring the New Forrest. If you walk into Lymington though, it's quite an up hill walk on the way back with no footpaths. My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful few days staying at this B&B and will definitely return.

Lovely room, very comfortable bed, spacious shower and even a kitchenette! Annabelle brought a delicious breakfast to our door each day (home made bread, fresh fruit etc) which we enjoyed outside on our own little terrace. We were given an informative file with brochures of what to see and do locally. We were very well looked after.

We stayed for one week in the studio and we really loved it! The studio is as spacious and luxury as described and we really appreciated the small terrace where we could relax with a coffee or beer after a long walk. The view is lovely and the whole premises is located very quiet and perfect for walking in and around Lymington. So we had a really relaxing holiday! Annabelle is a great host and she has a lot of good hints for activities and dinner in town. We can really recommend to book the studio by the sea without any limitations!

The studio was much bigger than expected with a huge king size bed, separate new bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Amazing fresh breakfast delivered in the morning by Annabelle, who is really helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. A very short walk down into the lovely town of Lymington ... A very nice way to see what the New Forest has to offer!

Excellent accommodation. Our host Annabelle was delightful and very helpful. As we enjoy walking,the location offered us the chance to get some miles in - did one of the coastal walks listed in a pamphlet in the information folder in the studio. We have been to Lymington several times and will be back again.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Annabelle (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
