With it's recently upgraded and redecorated family bathroom, this 3 bed semi detached townhouse is located in a quiet residential backwater in the Pennington area, just approx 5 mins drive from the lovely Georgian market town of Lymington and on the doorstep of the New Forest. The property is light and airy with views over open fields and glimpses of the Needles and Isle of Wight and enjoys an open, uninterrupted aspect to the rear of the house. Its edge of town location provides a real feeling of space, whilst the proximity of local amenities serves residents well. The property comprises a through lounge/diner with french doors out onto a small enclosed garden. There is TV, DVD and Wi-Fi. Local convenience shops with all essential amenities at Pennington, including a fish & chip shop and various takeaway establishments.Ideal area for walking, cycling, water sports and visiting the many tourist attractions with easy access to the New Forest To the south is Lymington, just a 10 min walk away, famous for its sailing and historic High Street where Saturday markets are very popular. It is world renowned as a yachting centre. From Lymington you can catch a ferry to the Isle of Wight, the ferry terminal is approx 5 mins away and ferry crossing is only 30 mins across to Yarmouth terminal. There are numerous attractions to visit in the New Forest such as Peppa Pig World, Beaulieu Abbey and National Motor Museum, and New Forest Wildlife Park to name but a few. Lyndhurst is the capital of the Forest and home to the New Forest Centre as well as lots of places to eat, shop and browse.

Situated in an idyllic location of the New Forest; accessible to popular tourist attractions, including Wildlife Parks, Activity Centres, Sailing and watersports. Suitable for walkers, cyclists, horse riding, beautiful beaches, and the popular historical seawater lido at Lymington is worth a visit.
All areas of interest are accessible by car or by local bus. The New Forest National Park is well served by rail services. Ashurst. Beaulieu Road, Brockenhurst, Sway and New Milton are all found on the mainline between London Waterloo and Weymouth. From Brockenhurst you can board a train to Lymington.
Some popular places to visit, Beaulieu Abbey and within its grounds the Beaulieu Palace and National Car Museum, Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park, walk the Solent Way, visit the Isle of Wight using the nearby ferry terminal just a 30 min crossing. Southampton, Bournemouth and Portsmouth also within easy reach.
A large variety of restaurants are located around the area to suit all tastes and there is an unlimited choice of cuisine.
Whether you travel here by car, train or bus, the New Forest and surrounding area is home to outstanding and natural beauty. It
has a unique mixture of ancient woodland, rivers, streams and home to grazing ponies and wild deer left to roam free, The area is a photographer's dream as is also too for the enthusiastic rambler with many miles of marked trails. Walking is a wonderful way to see the New Forest close up and also merits National Park status because it is a wonderful place to explore on foot, or horseback, or by bike. Bicylce hire is available locally.
There is a hop-on/off bus service which operates during the holiday season on which you can enjoy a grandstand view of the National Park from the top deck of the New Forest Tour bus without the hassle of driving and parking. There are 3 routes to choose from and you can hop on or off when you want or even switch between the routes all on the same ticket. Bikes can be carried free of charge.

“Dirty Smelly Damp house - no parking unfriendly area”
House smelly overall and damp smell and feel to the place. Rising damp marks on walls, Water damp marks on walls and Ceilings after some sort of flood - see pictures. Kitchen cupboards dirty, everything greasy, oily, see pics as we had to wash everything before use. Oven filthy and broken so unusable - see pic. The grill wire was rusty and unusable - see pic. Don't be fooled by the parking spaces at the front - they don't belong to the house and you can hardly ever get parked and when you do you get blocked in. Windows so filthy you could not see out them, mould on walls. No extractor in kitchen if you dared to use the dodgy cooker. Waste of money.
Owner's reply: Thank you for your review. I am sorry you found problems with the house. It does inform you in the visitors book about the parking & that you can use the garage. I had a water leak from the shower in August and as it took a while to present itself, it is taking a long time to dry out. As it was booked out I have not been able to redecorate it or assess the work needed. The oven has a gas safety cut off & may not have been opening properly, being a caterer myself,. I can only apologise. I have not been on top of things since my daughter's illness and her recent funeral.

Just enjoyed a great week here. House offered everything we needed and more. In a great location just outside Lymington - we cycled into the town on several evenings and it was only 10 minutes on quiet roads to the quayside. Having the garage to store bikes was a real plus. Plenty of space in the house for our 2 boys to entertain themselves. Havn't been to this part of the UK before, but thoroughly enjoyed it and the accommodation played a big part in that.

“Had to ventilate the house on arrival !”
The house smelt damp, due to leak from bathroom as far as I could tell, also smelt very 'doggy' On the whole it was clean and spacious accommodation. I search the kitchen without success, for a bread knife
Owner's reply: I stayed there a couple of days before you, and work had been done on the leak, I painted the ceiling with a special sealant, but the ceiling has to dry out. I am not sure if somebody has taken a dog there recently, but am not aware one being there. I didnt check all the knives when I was staying & being a caterer had supplied a varied selection. I will have to replace it... I am sorry for any inconvenience you had. Thank you for your feedback.
