“Fabulous”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2016

Everything about this cottage is great, starting with being met by Elaine and once in a lovely tray of goodies including some gorgeous Welsh cakes. The wood burner is lovely for those cosy nights in especially after lunch in the Rising Sun (this is a must to try) there are so many walks on the doorstep that if like us you don't want to use the car then just park it up and forget about it until home time.

Owner's reply: Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review, your lovely comments are much appreciated! Loved the fact that your car didn't move off the drive from the time you arrived to the time you left!

“Very relaxing”

Reviewed 31 Oct 2016

Warm, spotlessly clean, lovely welcome with a tray of goodies on arrival - what more could you ask for! We loved the log burning stove. We travelled with our 4yr old and there was plenty of room to make an extra bed in our bedroom. The location is fantastic, there is so much to do within 30 min drive so a really relaxing holiday. The Globe Inn, Alvington served great food - would really recommend it.

Owner's reply: So glad you enjoyed your break, many thanks for your glowing review - much appreciated! Also tips for other guests are always helpful.
