This detached stone cottage is situated in the village of Lydford, near Tavistock and can sleep five people in three bedrooms. Note: Please note that the garden is not secured for dogs. Clearview is a detached stone cottage located in the village of Lydford, Devon. Hosting three bedrooms; a super king-size, a king-size double, and a single, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to five people. Inside you will also find a ground floor WC, kitchen, sitting room with multi-fuel stove, a sitting room with a woodburning stove, and a conservatory. To the outside is off-road parking for three cars, a lawned garden with furniture, bike storage, and a summer house. Situated in a pretty destination, close to Lydford Gorge, and a historic village pub and castle ruins. Clearview is a lovely retreat in a heart-warming part of England. Sorry, towels are not provided.

Amenities: Oil central heating with woodburner and multi-fuel stove. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen (bring your own towels) inc. in rent. Parking for 1 to 2 vehicles (dependent on size) to the side of the property. Lawned garden (not secured for dogs) with furniture, bike storage and summer house. Dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking/vaping. Shop 7 mins walk, farm shop 15 mins walk and pub 2 mins walk. Note: Steep stairs leading up to first floor, may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Electric Vehicle users please note this property does not support the charging of electric vehicles from the domestic supply - please use the nearest vehicle charging stations - Tesco Superstore, Tavistock (8.2 miles), Tesla Supercharge, Lifton (9.5 miles), Chargemaster, Lifton (10.4 miles). Please note: This property has a minimum stay of x7nights. Note: Please note that the garden is not secured for dogs.

Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Town: the village of Lydford is a jewel in this area of outstanding scenic beauty. To the north, just half a mile away, the high tors come right down to the village edge, while to the south the River Lyd winds its way through Lydford Forest on its tumbling course northwards. Lydford village has an interesting medieval castle and nearby Lydford Gorge (National Trust) with its woodland walks and White Lady waterfall is a must. The village also has a Post Office, pub and award-winning restaurant.
