This big old farmhouse is on a beautiful Dartmoor farm near Lydford and can sleep ten people in four bedrooms.The Farmhouse is a wonderful old house in the heart of a Dartmoor farmstead near Lydford. The house sleeps nine people in two double bedrooms (one can convert to twin), a single and a room with two sets of bunks. There is an upstairs bathroom and extra WC and a downstairs shower room. On the ground floor are a living room and sunroom, dining room with open fire, kitchen and laundry room. Outside is a secluded garden with barbecue and 250 acre farm to wander and help on. The house shares an outdoor swimming pool, tennis court and games room. Additional fun activities can also be arranged. The Farmhouse is a fabulous place with masses for families to do and see.

Amenities: Central heating with open fire. Microwave, fridge, tumble dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with DVD, WiFi, Phone, Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available on request. Off road parking for four cars. Garden with tennis court, barbecue, shared outdoor heated pool. Three well-behaved dogs welcome (additional charge for 2nd & 3rd). Sorry no smoking. Check-in time 4pm, departure by 10am. Note: The outdoor pool is available from 27th May to 16th September.

Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Town: Nestling among mature woodland on the western slopes of Dartmoor, the historic village of Lydford is a jewel in this area of outstanding scenic beauty. To the north, just half a mile away, the high tors come right down to the village edge, while to the south the River Lyd winds its way through Lydford Forest on its tumbling course northwards.
