The spacious bathroom has a bath with electric shower over, shaver point and heated towel rail. All rooms have individually controlled electric panel heaters (not storage heaters).
The cottage is single storey with no internal steps. There is one external step leading to the entrance door and one step from the French doors to the patio.
Croft Cottage has its own private entrance drive and large garden which includes a small patio and parking all of which are separate from our own home nearby. We are near enough to offer any help and advice as required but assume that guests will wish to enjoy their privacy in this wonderfully tranquil, rural location.
Our nearest shops are in Clee Hill village (2 miles) which has a convenience store and post office, greengrocer and a superb bakery. A little further away are the delightful small towns of Tenbury Wells and Cleobury Mortimer each with a good, range of shops, pubs, restaurants and other facilities. Ludlow is a haven for foodies with an excellent market, specialist food shops and gourmet eateries!
Croft Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the Shropshire Hills and surrounding countryside of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and the Welsh Marches. This is great walking country but there are also many attractions for the less energetic: historic Ludlow justly famed for its mediaeval streets, rich architectural heritage, Norman castle and the Assembly Rooms providing live entertainment, films and exhibitions; Leominster a charming market town and home to many antique shops; several National Trust properties and wonderful gardens, the open air museum of Ironbridge, RAF museum at Cosford and the cathedral city of Hereford are all within an hours drive. There is a good range of informative leaflets and guides in the cottage to help you plan your holiday.

“A memorable Stay”

Reviewed 26 Jun 2016

What a find, this delightful well appointed cottage cannot fail to please. As a base for exploring the lovely Shropshire historic towns and villages it was excellent. The well tended garden also offered a quiet haven to spend time reading and relaxing. With it's own gated entrance and parking It's a WOW from us. Thanks to Rob & Judi for making our visit so enjoyable.

“A haven of peace and tranquility.”

Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Croft Cottage. We have stayed here before & are already looking forward to our next visit. Always perfectly presented & set in the beautiful Shropshire countryside we find it an ideal location for relaxing and exploring the area. On this occasion our explorations included the Shropshire hills, various places of historical interest (including stately homes and castles), nearby towns such as Ludlow & Tenbury Wells, and even slightly further afield in Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire & Wales. Thanks once again to our gracious hosts, Judy & Rob.

Very well appointed, spotlessly clean, lovely quiet location, beautiful countryside near attractive towns. Very pleasant owners exceptionally helpful but not intrusive. Very reasonable price. what more could one ask for!
