Description from owner

Description

Quirky old townhouse in the centre of Ludlow - an ancient market town close to the Welsh Marches. The house is on three floors and comprises large living/dining room, kitchen, sitting room, 3 double bedrooms, family bathroom, wc/washroom, shower room, laundry, separate garden. Unfortunately, the kitchen is small but we have tried to make it as efficient as possible. All the amenities of the town are close by including restaurants, shops, castle, markets and festivals. There are antique shops and flea markets . The house is a family home and furnished with antiques. Parking can be a problem in Ludlow - we offer one free on street parking very nearby otherwise there are numerous carparks in the town. The station is about a 10-minute walk. The price includes all services, linen and wi-fi (not cleaning or telephone). The bedrooms can all take extra beds/cots - two are furnished with double beds, one with twin beds. There is full central heating and a large wood-burner

This house is ideal for either a family or friends wanting to explore and experience living in Ludlow. There are plenty of easy walks nearby although Ludlow is a hilly place.

Location description from owner

The England region

Shropshire is adjacent to Wales. Ludlow is an ancient capital of the region and is now most renowned for food - restaurants, markets and festivals. It is a good place to stay to explore the Welsh Marches and Herefordshire. The cathedral cities of Hereford and Worcester are within easy reach. Ludlow is full of interesting shops. The church, St Lawrence, is famous for miserichords and architectural beauty. Ludlow Castle is full of interest and history and during the Summer Arts Festival it is the venue for Shakesperian plays.
