From the owner

This bright apartment is located in the heart of Lucca, a few steps from the famous Piazza Anfiteatro and San Frediano Church. The entrance is in the main street of the city (near very good restaurants, pizzerias, cafe for breakfast and every type of shop), but in the flat you can enjoy the peace of an hidden garden where the windows overlook. From here you can hear only some birds twitting and you can see some hills around Lucca and the ancient walls surrounding the city (here you can promenade on a 4-kilometers ring).

The apartment is located on the second and last floor (46 steps from the street level) of an historic building, a convent in the medieval age. It looks modern in amenities (air conditioning, wifi internet connection, central heating, washing machine) and in the furniture.

The decor is groomed, tastefully choosen with design elements: Kartell, Covo and Martinelli Luce are the designer of lamps, chairs and coat hanger.

In the elegant bedroom there is a picture that is a precious silk scarve showing Lucca in 1742. In the bright dining room there is the skyline of the historical center, drawn on the wall by Annarita Papeschi, an artist from Lucca. If necessary, the large sofa becomes a real bed with a comfortable mattress.

To the windows there are mosquito screens.

This apartment is cleaned by a specialized company that uses certified products (not home made by the owner).

Look at the pictures to see the romantic bedroom with the big wardrobe; the fully equiped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven and microwave oven; the spacious shower in the yellow bathroom (there is hair dryer); the small pink toilet.

Come to try this apartment and you will feel like at your home away from home. Andrea e Chiara, the owners, will be very happy to take care of your needs.

Free parking is outside the city wall, at 600mt.

In accordance with Italian State and Tax Office Laws, at the moment you check in, the following will be necessary:

- signing of a rental contract for holiday purposes IN ITALIAN LANGUAGE of which you will receive a printed copy (and an english translation);

- passport (or ID Card) for official registration of your stay as required by the Italian State Police;

- payment of the City of Lucca Tourism Tax: 1.50 eur per person per night up to a maximum three nights.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Andrea (the owner) a message.

If Andrea (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
