Holiday Home Casa Joanna is just under 400 square metre house, with lovely views from the towers of Lucca to the charming farm houses, villas and olive grows on the Monte Zano in the village of Vorno.

Historic Casa Joanna (al Mariti) is situated in the charming traditional village of Vorno, a delightful gathering of rustic stone farmhouses and majestic villas set in the lush country side at the foot of Monte Zano in Northern Tuscany.

Vorno is famous for royal families of the past who designed and built their summer villas in this tranquil, temperate village just south of Lucca. Chosen for its beauty, the views of the rolling Tuscan hills and the ever so slightly cooler temperaturs in the summer, Vorno became the home of some of the most amazing villas in Tuscany.

Located within the walls of Villa Valentina, Casa Joanna has it's own hedge garden, separate entrance and parking. The house was designed and constructed in a grand style well over a century ago. The 4 metre high ceilings on the piano terra give an open spacious feel to the rooms with a large chandeliers hanging from the brick-laied vaults. Outdoor terraces provide al fresco dining for up to 8 guests each, partly shaded by an old cherry tree. The delightful garden of terracotta pots, fruit trees, local flowers and scented climbers of jasmine and honey suckle create a truly Tuscan feel.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Roman (the owner) a message.

If Roman (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
