This original and bright small apartment is located in the city center a few steps from the Church of San Francesco and Anfiteatro Square. Recently refurbished, this is a very comfortable location to visit ancient Lucca town.
It has many amenities: air conditioning, wifi internet connection, whirlpool bath and fireplace. Its fornitures are very original: they join modernism and antiquity. The apartment takes its name “Black&White” from the main colours of the rooms.
The apartment lies on the third floor (43 easy steps from the street level) of a very typical townhouse in the east side of Lucca. In a few steps there are very good pizzeria, grocery, bakery, cafe for breakfast in the morning and lovely restaurant.
The apartment is a large studio with a fireplace, a separated kitchen and the bathroom.
You get into the living area where is a large dining table and black leather sofa (which is a french bed also). Some moveable white panels divide the living area from the bedroom where is a queen size bed; flat screen tv is on the wall in front of the bed.
The bathroom has a whirlpool bath where you can also have a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with: oven, electric stove top, dishwasher, fridge freezer and everything necessary for cooking.
The apartment comes with several windows so you have plenty of lights and beautiful views... you will cook looking at the Guinigi Tower!
Free parking on the street (outside the city walls near the soccer stadium) at 10/15 min walking. Otherwise you can park in a toll parking at 2 min (about 10-12 euros per day).
Andrea and Chiara, the owners, will be very happy to take care of all your needs.

Lucca Historical Center
Lucca is a city which can be divided in 3 areas: the historic centre inside the town wall, the immediate outskirt, the nearby hills.
The reference point of this subdivision is "Le Mura". They are Renaissance walls which enclose the city into a ring 4,3 km round. These walls are considered a real jewel both from an historical and an archaeological point of view as well as from an environmental one because they form a green oasis around the Renaissance buildings, the Romanesque churches and the Medieval places typical of Lucca. On the town walls one can take walks or ride a bicycle, or stop on the lawns to admire the view of the old town or the panorama of the surrounding hills, one can also stop for a picnic on the green or sit on a bench to read a book.
Moreover Lucca can also be considered a reference point for visiting Tuscany since it is close to Pisa, Florence or Siena. It is also well located for enjoying the sea and the "riviera" called La Versilia, or for going to the mountains of La Garfagnana or for visiting the marble quarries of Carrara.
