"Sheefry" is equipped and furnished to the highest standard; it is sunny and spacious with magnificent mountain views.
Louisburgh is located on the Bunowen River -excellent trout and salmon fishing.
Surrounded by lovely rural scenery, boasting three wonderful beaches, Bertra, Carramore and Old Head, the
fantastic surfing beaches... at Carrowniskey & Cross (lessons available) and in close proximity to Sheaffrey and Mweelrea Mountains (hill walking).

Louisburgh is ideally situated for day trips to Galway city, Sligo, Achill and Clifden (approx. 1hr) to mention a few. There are many Blue flag beaches in Louisburgh such as Carrowmore, Old Head and Bertra in Murrisk. Also in Murrisk is the famine memorial ship at the foot of Croagh Patrick Holy mountain.
The National Museam of Ireland is in Castlebar and certainly worth a visit

Westport is a beautiful town with many things to see and do. There are ducks to feed on the mall river, play parks, skate park and games ares, cinema. Also the famous Matt Molloy pub with its traditional Irish music and cric.

The house is well situated for access to Killary, Leenane, Delphi, the Clare Island ferry at Roonagh, Croagh Patrick, Westport and many more points of interest.
Louisburgh is located on the Bunowen River (Excellent trout and
salmon fishing) about 15 miles from the charming heritage town of
Westport. It has a chemist, supermarket, news agent, hotel, 5 pubs
and 2 restaurants. Surrounded by lovely rural scenery, boasting
three wonderful beaches, Bertra, Carramore and Old Head, the
fantastic surfing beachs... at Carrowniskey & Cross (lessons
available) and in
close proximity to Sheaffrey and Mweelrea Mountains (hill
walking), the area
offers something to please everyone. Take a ferry from Roonagh
pier out to Clare Island or Inishturk, or discover the traditional
Feile Chois Cuain, May Bank Holiday music festival. Cruise on
Killary Harbour or try Abseiling & Archery at Delphi Adventure
Centre.
With a choice of golf courses available in near by Westport ,this
lovely location offers plenty to see and do for all ages.
