Location description from owner

The Western Ireland region

The Foxhollow Cottage holidaying region includes Counties Mayo and Galway. This is a large region and mainly suitable for
touring. Regions to tour would include Connemara with its magnificent mountain scenery and a visit to Galway city.
Louisburgh is on the WILD ATLANTIC WAY which continues South to Leenane and onwards through Connemara and Galway
If keen to take the WAW Northwards to NW Mayo via Westport
Louisburgh and Foxhollow are ideal locations to use as a base for these large ventures
. We would suggest that a holiday group first take a holiday in the Louisburgh area AS DESCRIBED BELOW and return
for the WILD ATLANTIC WAY venture at a later date. WAW information is available from Foxhollow Hollow or Failte Ireland.

“Great house, great location.”

Reviewed 6 Aug 2014

The house was immaculate throughout. Very spacious inside and out with loads of garden space for kids. Great quiet location yet 5-10 minutes walk into town. Great views of both the ocean and Croagh Patrick. We hope to return again
