Getting around

Ulsterbus service runs between Belfast and Enniskillen town and a taxi ride from the bus station to the house takes approx 8 minutes.. Local taxi's are very reasonable to and from town. Once on the resort the Hotel Restaurants/Bars, Tai Spa and Faldo & Castlhume Golf Courses are easily accessible by foot therefore a car is not always needed once at the house. We do recommend a car however if you wish to explore N.I. or the Rep of Ireland. Rossnowlagh Beach in Donegal is a 25/30 minute drive. Happy to answer any questions on getting around - just drop me an email.

“Christmas Break”

Myself and my family stayed from 23rd December until 27th December. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house was well equipped with everything you need and closely situated to the hotel. It was very clean and well maintained and we are already planning our next stay. We would fully recommend.

I stayed at the Gate Lodge with 5 friends for 2nights . We would thoroughly recommend the Gate Lodge . It is a spacious, beautifully decorated house all to a really high standard . It felt very homely and comfortable but with the luxuriousness of decor we felt very spoilt . The hotel facilities are fabulous and just a short walk from the house . The host Susan couldn’t do enough to facilitate our stay .

Excellent accommodation, spacious and luxurious. Gorgeous location with golf for the boys and a beautiful lake walk for the ladies. One big plus each bedroom had an on-suite bathroom, perfect for 3 fussy couples. Key collection and drop off was easy and instructions clear to follow. That personal touch was much appreciated and getting rarer in today's electronic society. We really enjoyed ourselves and will plan again.

The house was great, very clean and ideally located for a range of activities. The house is large with all the mod coms you could wish for. The owner was also very helpful and the booking procedure was straight forward. Hope to go back.

Why can't I call Enda (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Enda (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
