Every year, on the 8th of September, several thousand people get together in Josselin for the big religious festival of Notre Dame du Roncier. It is said that the chapel was contructed by Vicomte du Porhoet, Guethenoc in the year l000. The English Bookshop is worth a browse (Rue de Trente)"

"excellent location for sightseeing"
location of property was excellent for visiting and looking around old French towns for sightseeing and for walks around the quiet village of le cambout (visited in October) visiting in summer might be less quiet then October but you have the lake to visit which was only a ten minute walk away from the property. local towns are josselin and pontivy.both have a couple of supermarkets and a wide range of restaurants local village of brehan also has a supermarket..easy to get to from roscoff (about 2hrs away).the house was nicely furnished and the kitchen was easy to use.we had also used this property for a short break in 2012
