Bethany is a traditional Fisherman's cottage located in the beautiful coastal village of Lossiemouth, Moray. It has been recently completely renovated to a warm, cosy, quirky and comfortable self catering holiday cottage. Our home, your holiday house in the Jewel of Moray. With the beach around the corner. Literally. Whether you love to walk on one of the surrounded beaces, play some holes of golf on the most excellent golfcourts, enjoy heaps of nature, explore many castles and ruines, or try some whisky at one of the 40 distilleries in the area, why not explore from Bethany? It's perfectly located to do all sort of activities. Lossie itself has plenty to offer too. From local coffeeshops and ice cream parlours to tasty restaurants and nice shops. And all from within walking distance. Although Bethany by the Sea does offer plenty for when the weather doesn't cooperate; films and books, games and puzzles and Wii modules to entertain the whole family. I hope you enjoy the cottage as much as we do. When you enter the cottage you find a cosy familyroom on the righthand with a sofa, chairs, freeview tv and sat and a Wii console, and an open fireplace. On the left side of the hall you'll find a diningroom to sit 6 people, and comfy big chair to relax and a half open kitchen. Upstairs you'll find the masterbedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two single beds. On the landing and both bedrooms is enough space to put a babycot. Downstairs is a three piece bathroom set with a shower in the bath. You can park the car in front of the cottage, but as it is a narrow street we'd recommend to park around the corner. There is no garden or patio.

The see most of this beautiful area you must have a car; there are a few car rentals in the area if you don't bring one. Just let me know..

We have a key safe so won't be around to meet in person. However, in case of emergency we have friends around who are willing to help out. We are always available per email/ MSN or WhatsApp...

The cottage was very well equipped and very comfortable. Warm and cosy with some quirks to make it seem homely. Enjoyed our week and hope to do the same next year.

We really recommend this holiday cottage. Close to the beach and really nice fish and chip shop opposite. Very well equipped and some lovely little touches.

My partner, daughter and I have flown from Australia and was grateful to have stayed in this cottage. We absolutely loved it and had a perfect place to retire (hide) from Lossie relatives. The fitout inside is in excellent condition and well themed. Only downside was low fault for being tall...but close to pubs and beach. Thank so much for allowing us to stay and will certainly aim to stay again in the future.

“Gorgeous cottage, lots of space and close to all facilities and beach”

We were one of the first guests to try out this lovely newly renovated cottage in Lossie. Everything was so nice and cosy, we enjoyed the large separate dining room the most for our whole family to play games, eat and chat while the other watched TV in the living room. The decorations are well chosen and lovely and give the cottage a modern, yet comfortable look. We are certainly coming back to this cottage in the near future. Many thanks to Erik and Chantal as they made our trip fantastic.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
