The apartment is situated in beautifully maintained gardens, with a beautiful large swimming pool which has sun loungers, children's play area, bars and cafés. The pool is cloverleaf design with a children's area, which narrows and flows into deeper areas for swimmers. The pool and complex has ramps and hand rails for disabled users. There is also a seperate deeper fenced swimming pool, which is ideal for experienced swimmers. The quiet spacious complex has something for everyone.
The apartment is spacious and has a new kitchen with breakfastbar/island and stools. There is an outside table and chairs. The lounge area is superb with new leather suite, TV, Internet, and telephone. This leads directly onto the terrace. The floor has recently been tiled.The bedroom has a king and single bed with wardrobe and dresser with a door leading onto the terrace..
The apartment as a whole is equipped with everything you would expect if living there full time.

The terrace is newly tiled and have lounge chairs, barbecue, and garden table and chairs. Near the apartment (2 minute walk) are 3 supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bus stop, car hire, cash machine, public telephones and bank. A beautiful sandy beach is situated within walking distance, about half a mile away, and the main shopping, eating, and entertainment area is about 1 mile. We can arrange car hire pick-up at the airport at a very low rate and any other service you may require; laundry, etc.

The Canary Islands region

Lanzarote is situated just 79 miles off the coast of Africa and is the most easterly of the Canary Islands. The island is 37 miles (60km) long and 12 miles (20 km) wide, making it the fourth largest island in the Canaries.
Lanzarote enjoys a mild dry climate with average daytime temperatures ranging from about 21°C in January to 29°C in August. Annual rainfall is just 140mm (5.5 inches). This makes Lanzarote the perfect year-round destination.

As with the other Canary Islands, Lanzarote is Volcanic in origin. Due to the recent eruptions during the 18th and 19th Centuries, many parts of Lanzarote appear to be from another world, often described as 'lunar' or 'Martian'.
The dry climate (and lack of erosion) means that the Volcanic Landscape appears much as it did just after the eruptions.

Amongst the many stunning Volcanic features of Lanzarote is the longest Volcanic Tunnel in the world, the Atlantida Tunnel, which is over 7 km long and includes the La Cueva de los Verdes and Jameos del Agua.

Los Molinos, Lanzarote

Our apartment is in the coastal resort town of Costa Teguise located 5 miles from the capital, Arrecife, and 10 miles from the airport. It is part of the Los Molinos complex, designed by famous artist Cesar Manrique, and is comprised of individually designed residential, time-share, and privately owned rented apartments. We are centrally located to visit all areas of the island A footpath takes you to the beach (10 minutes) and a further 10 minute walk along the coast to the town center.

Costa Teguise has a water park and golf course. Scheduled buses to Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen and tour buses to Teguise Sunday market and various tourist locations depart nearby. If you hire a car most sites are only a 5 to 30 minutes drive. We can arrange for you to be met at the airport with a rented car. There is live music nearby. A hotel across from us that has a piano bar with jazz and a live entertainment area and welcome non residents.

“Very convenient location”

The property is in a very convenient location, there are many restaurants in the area which are all very good, also there are 2 supermarkets along the main road.. Bus stops and taxi stands are close by too. The patio does overlook the main road but far enough back to be private. The patio gets the sun in the morning through to early afternoon. There is actually a small but pretty sea view which the owners don't mention. It is in close proximity to the Dickens sports bar which can be a little loud, but it didn't bother us. On arrival everything looks ok and as shown in the pictures but after being in the apartment a short time some flaws become apparent. Not too drastic individually but add them together then it makes the place feel down at heel and unloved. Things like duct tape holding one of the breakfast bar stools together, the kick board to the breakfast bar/island not fitting properly, the drawers to sideboard not closing properly same too with the pan drawer In the kitchen and no handles on three of the kitchen drawers. It also took us ages to find the fridge as it has no handle! The bath panel is totally loose and moves about when you're trying to get in and out of the bath, plus with the amount of extraneous sealant and filler on the bath and walls, it makes the place look grubby. Also the toilet is a bit close to the bath, when sat on it, for comfort. Then there is the cleaning, whilst the fridge, freezer, cooker, microwave etc were extremely clean, there are layers of dust on the door panels and a big pile of white powdery stuff behind the washer which is quite visible when you are stood at the wash basin in the bathroom. I would have expected better paying £50 for cleaning. Although the pictures of the property show a dining table there isn't one, there is an island which they describe as a breakfast bar...but it's very uncomfortable to sit and eat as you can't get your knees under and eating outside isn't always practical because Lanzarote can get very windy at times, and when lettuce takes flight off you plate that's not pleasant. We had two problems the first day, the wifi stopped working and the bed collapsed. In fairness Dianne and Doug very quickly helped out by telling us how to contact the internet company who soon resolved the problem, they also arranged for people to come and sort the bed, however it collapsed again that night so we called them back again to fix. (I'm not sure that the fix will be a permanent solution as we had to re-align the slats every couple of days). Although I emailed the owners with these points, I have heard nothing from them. We would revisit this area but not sure we would visit this apartment again. If anyone is interested I have pictures.

“Lovely apartment - a must visit!”

We have been back to this apartment now over half a dozen times. It is lovely! The complex itself is so convenient for the supermarket, restaurants and beech. You can walk to the square or get a taxi for less than 3 euro. The owners have recently transformed the apartment and refurbed it to a high spec which makes it even more of a delightful stay. It feels fresh and modern inside. The best thing about this apartment is the pool is only a few steps from your front door! A must stay that will not break the bank!
