This is a quiet, sunny studio apartment with a large sun terrace and an open outlook.
While close to the attractions of Los Cristianos, it is not in amongst the bars and bustle of the port. A short walk takes you to a huge choice of bars and restaurants, the beach area, the port or the beachside promenade.
The apartment is in the Port Royale complex, which is right next to the Hollywood Mirage, Beverly Hills Heights and Beverly Hills Club complexes - one of the most attractive parts of Los Cristianos.
Bathroom has been modernised, and there is a roomy, walk-in shower. TV with satellite connection. Access to the flat from the road is achieved on one level, but the pool is on a lower level, so some steps are involved.
Notes on accommodation
The apartment is suitable for a family with 1 or 2 young children, but being a studio is not ideal for older families. It has good ventilation and a ceiling fan, so is easily kept cool on warm days.

The Canary Islands region
Canary Islands are often described as the 'islands of eternal spring'. That is quite true. This is a year round destination and you can really visit Tenerife at any time without disappointment.
Of course during winter it does get a little cooler, but compared to central and northern Europe it is still pure paradise. Inevitably, the warm winter does tend to draw the bulk of tourists and December to February can definitely be considered 'high season'.
Not quite so busy, but certainly also a high season are the months between May and October. The cool sea breezes can be very refreshing compared to the 'scorchers' associated with mainland Spain.
Airfares are most attractive between November and mid December, also from March to May with the exception of Easter that is very popular indeed.
Los Cristianos is situated 15 km west of the southern airport (Reina Sofía).This is without a doubt one of the most popular resorts on the Canary Islands. The beaches are very nice and it has a wonderful harbour that offers fishing trips, pleasure cruises, glass bottom boats, diving excursions and ferries to La Gomera.
Los Cristianos tends to attract a slightly older holidaymaker in comparison to Playa de las Américas and has managed to keep a little of its original architecture and atmosphere as a quaint fishing village.
What you will easily find is year round sunshine and a vast array of Pubs, clubs, shops, restaurants (English and German too) and boisterous nightlife.
The nearby AquaPark Octopus is a must for any family. Believe us, your kids could spend their whole holiday there.
The newer Siam Park, a world class water theme park, is also nearby, and free buses run from nearby the apartment to this and the other attractions.
Tenerife Zoo and the Eagles Park are also within easy reach of Los Cristianos.

"a great stay at port royale"
my husband, 16 year old son and myself stayed at the Port Royale Apartments, Los Cristianos Tenerife for 7 days I had to take to the internet and tell people of the great holiday we had. we were very happy with the apartment, and it had everything that we needed ie utensils of every sort, loads of pots and pans, coffee, tea, washing up liquid, washing powder etc. In fact all we had to buy was the food that we cooked. the bathroom was very clean and the shower had constant hot water. The owners had provided dvds, books, playing cards, etc and we had several English channels. the apartment was clean, comfortable, homely, and very quite and peaceful. We slept so well as there was no noise during the night. the sun terrace was very spacious, with plenty of tables, chairs, sun loungers, and clothes airer. we had the use of the barbecue which we used to cook some lovely steaks bought in the local supermarket and fresh fish bought in the morning at the pier. we so enjoyed a glass of wine while enjoying the views and relaxing while the barbecue cooked our dinner. the terrace was ideal for reading, and having a quite moment to treasure the time we had together as a family. the whole complex was very clean, and quite. my son and husband used the pool and they enjoyed it and found it to be very adequate, clean and peaceful. we hired a car which cost less than 10 euro a day. we walked the promenade each morning and the whole strip was very pleasant with loads of other walkers. it was lovely watching people enjoying their breakfasts in the many restaurants along the way. we swam, read, dived, fished, walked, we took a trip on a catamaran and enjoyed the dolphins, and whales swimming along the boat. the toured the island but particularly enjoyed the Islands emblematic volcano and took the cable car to within 200 m of Teide's summit. we enjoyed eating out in the many restaurants, but our favourite was little italy royale - the food was excellent and the service was top class. we loved Siam Park and went back for a second visit - the slides were great fun and the wave pool was brilliant - not bad for 50 plus years olds. the walk back to the apartment was a challenge but for 3 euros in a taxi it was worth every cent after a great night out. we had a great holiday and feel very refreshed and rested. we will definitely be back for some winter sun in the near future.
