The California region

Pacific Palisades is on the westside of LA, located between Santa Monica and Malibu.

Los Angeles is one of the largest cities in the US, comprised of a series of unique neighborhoods, each with their own flavor, great restaurants and shopping, from downtown Beverly Hills to Pasadena's Colorado Avenue to Santa Monica's Third Street Promenade. Plentiful concerts, museums and sightseeing. Major attractions include Universal Studios, Six Flags and Disneyland. Outdoors types will enjoy the beaches, mountains, parks, water sports, and in the winter, snow skiing is just 90 minutes away. With the dessert and Palm Springs in one direction, and Catalina Island in the other, LA may be the most diversified one-stop destination in the US.
